Not at the same time. But yeah, when I quit I wanted to eat all the time too. Chew gum. It kept my mouth busy. And just push through. It gets better.

You can only figure out maintenance (TDEE) calories by trial and error. This is a good place to start, but you'll need to tweak your cals depending on if you gain/lose after a few weeks, or it might end up being just right for you. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

Don't eat processed food. Or anything with sugar. Or carbs, carbs are evil too. Oh yeah, and then there's salt, things with salt are super bad. Oh hell, everything is off limits! Just eat air! Ok, the last part was my own, but yeah. Pretty much this. :laugh:

I would looooove to read such studies! Do you have any links? I pretty much came to this conclusion. Plus there's the fact that I want to EAT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE and still lose weight. :wink:

Oh the horror! Using MFP for something other than counting calories! It's called myFITNESSpal, not myCALORIECOUNTINGpal. This is seriously the most annoying thing I see on the forums. Personally I'm doing TDEE - 10% and losing 1/2 lb per week. Works for me and I'm not starving all the time.... ......just some of the time. :wink:

I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and I'm not logging. I can eat moderately on my own and I also need the mental break. Personally I believe vacation is a time to relax and sit on my *kitten* so I don't workout either. I figure I workout/log the rest of the year so 4 days isn't going to kill me. :wink:

If you've been lifting for a while just do the advanced program. You cannot build muscle while eating at a deficit, but you can retain the muscle you already have. I like this approach. Same in my office. Today they brought in red velvet donuts & nutella donuts. But we always cut up everything into little bites, so I took one bite of each and was done with it. So much goodness.

Bagels are DELICIOUS! I eat one every morning. OP - when I get the urge to snack, I snack. I log it. I fit it into my macros and daily calorie goal. I move on with life. Ta-da!

Your posture is different, in the second one you are standing up straighter and with legs together, so it's hard to tell. Agree with above, just keep trucking, change will come.
