Both of you ladies can and WILL accomplish your goals! I know you can. I am the same in that I wanted my lifestyle to change. I am not concerned about numbers now because I know that they don't tell the whole story. However, pounds lost do measure progress. They are a necessary evil. I am a 5'2 woman, so my ideal range…

Thanks for putting this group together! I'm Mallory. I'm from North Carolina. Excited to be on MFP for my third try. So far the habits are sticking, and I am feeling tons better already. I have lost ten pounds with an ultimate goal of being a happy, healthy me.

I just started back. From my experience, pacing is everything. Don't try to run too fast! I thought, "Okay, I should be going at a 12 minute mile, or and 11 minute mile"...don't! Run the speed you're most comfy with.

I have both PB2 and peanut butter in my cabinet. I love both for different reasons. For a protein shake which is already caloric, I use PB2. I would never eat that stuff by itself haha

I gave up alcohol

Lost 20. Gained 35 back. It's a lifestyle change, not a one time deal. Learned that the hard way! Good luck--feel free to add me.

I have only techinically lost 2 pounds since I started my tracking 15 days ago. I know my height weight was 190 and now I'm at 186.5, but since weighing that first time, that's it. I like to think of it as lean muscle being built. It takes time, especially for women. If you're not crazy overweight too, it will be a more…

I did not have the eating disorder buzz, but my chapter did have groups of girls who would go to workout together for support.

I have so many different moods! Lately I've been listening to the following Pandora stations: AC/DC Kanye West Eminem Funk (believe it or not, it has a great beat to run to!) Britney Spears (when I want to say $%^@ *****es!)

Before a workout it seems like work. After, it is the best high ever!

I started buying clothing in larger sizes than my "fat pants" and decided enough is enough too. I had struggled with weight gain from a medication. Trying to lose about 35-40.

I go for 1400-1500. I exercise about 5-6 days a week (heavy cardio) and try burn between 400 and 600 calories.

FYI the GNC Whey Protein in Cookies and Cream is on sale 2 for $50 bucks on their site right now. It beats paying 47.99 for 1!

First of all, congrats! I'm curious how you've kept it off? Thanks!

1. May be water weight. 2. May be a gain of lean MUSCLE. Keep it up for a few weeks and see what happens. These things take time, unfortunately. Good luck!

I have to admit, I don't use it as a spread. You can add water to it and make it on a sandwich or whatever, but I like putting it in my protein shakes. It mixes well. PS: You can get it at Whole Foods or EarthFare in NC
