I followed IPORM and I gained about 10lbs over 4 weeks. Then my body started to slowly adjust and I started to drop again. Don't get discouraged. It's part of the process. I do heavy weight lifting and there is no way 1200 cal is enough.

All these married folks who dont get thier waffles often are making me not want to get married. I love waffles! I need my waffles. All women need waffles!

Anyone can lose "weight" on 1200 cal. Easy.Simple. BUt I like my mucles, my strength, my edurance and my POWER! I cant do that on 1200 calories
-
The only other thing I can think of is that your muscles are retaining water from the run. You can gain "weight", it doesn't necessarily mean that you are gaining fat. Two completely different things. How are your clothes fitting? I tend to gain 2-3 lbs everytime I do a heavy weightlifting day.

But the old broken in shoes are the most comfy  I have been thinking of investing in some good running shoes.

This is the problem with most women, not all, but most. We dont care about anything as long as we are "skinny". You want to be skinny but you can't even run a mile straight, or skinny and cant even lift a 10lb weight. A baby weighs more than 10lbs, how will you carry or nurse your baby. How will you carry groceries up…

Heavier folks can lose more weight faster than someone smaller.

Lift weights. Heavy weights. No girlie barbie weights. HIIT training and heavy weight lifting will change your life. Period.

lol this made me laugh, there are some people whotake thier jobs serious!!!

Agree^^^ its not that hard. Greek yogurt has tons of protien too!
-
This is correct. It per lean body mass, not body weight. Basically you have to find out how much of your body weight is actually lean body mass, everything else besides, fat, organs, bones etc....

Skip it and stretch on a foam roller.

I don't know if my personal experience will help you any. I am about twice your size. Do you lift weights? When I started TDEE- 20% and picked up heavy lifting I gained 10lbs in about 4 weeks. After the fifth week my body adjusted and slowly started to let go of the inches. I am 20 lbs heavier than my loswest weight when…

Yea i got mine from old navy too, very comfortable, affordable and they get the job done. no jiggle jiggle

It seems like you are wanting results fast. It takes at least 12 weeks to see changes. My friends saw it around 8 weeks. Some see it faster others it takes longer. But ask yourself what exactly are your goals with Body Pump, is there something in specific you are wanting? Body Pump is baby weight for me now. I started…

agree^ After I started to lift heavy, I was eating all the time!
-
So what's the answer to the question, Im kind of curious my self. I start with "light" then work my way up to my max weight, but I'm wondering if going the opposite is as effective?
-
This is exactly what Im doing. Following IPORM, heavy lifting 4x a week and HITT for 30 min after every lifting session! Losing fat and getting stronger!
-
Feeling strong and being able to lift more weight than the man next to you. Changing your body shape and being able to pig out one day and not worry about gaining weight the next day or feeling like your whole "diet" just went out the window.
-
Today I did my turkey trot in about 37 min!!! You are awesome!!!

If you want to read my post. I went from 1200 cal to 1900-240. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/799358-my-personal-quest-on-1200-calories There are times when I am so busy , that sometimes I forget to eat or at the end of the day I still have alot of calories left over, dont beat yourself up over it. Just continue…

DO IT DO IT DO IT!!! IT'S THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO FOR YOURSELF!

Yes, I really think my body was resting and rovering from the heavy lifting. Feels great to be able to eat all that yummy crap with out fear of gaining weight.

I saw the picture, and I must say I have never seen this roller. Can someone give me a little bit more info. My current roller is good, though I have though about moving up to the PVC pipe. Is this roller a better option?

Welcome!!! You made the right decision to take control of your health. The best advice that I'd give you is to start with small changes in your everyday life. If you can walk as far as you can, maybe to the end of the drive way, work your way up until you can safely walk to the end of the street. With food, make small…

Thank you! I too have 2-3 random strangers every week at the gym tell me how great I look, and they can see the changes. Even though I dont see anything.
