I came up with this improvision so that I don't over eat. If I had a slice of cheesecake, it would set me off on a mini eating binge. My fault, I know. This is limited in portion size as the yoghurt comes in preset packaged amounts. It gives me just enough sweetness to satisfy my needs, without all the additional calories…

Next you are going to tell me that Vodka is not a morning beverage. Oh noes

Bravo for you and congrats.

Good for you. Your story motivates me to keep on going. Can't wait to see the pictures.

I agree. I will try not to gorge myself, but as this is a rare occurrence, I will enjoy myself, log in advance what I think I will be eating, and if I eat more, so be it. As an American expat living on the French Swiss border, the Chinese cuisine is not quite as greasy as that in the US, and the different plate options are…

Great application. I love it

I can buy almost anything American/British at a specialty store here in Geneva, but the prices are out of this world and out of my budget. I miss sugar free jello/pudding mixes, fat free/low sodium chicken broth in the brick carton, graham crackers, Motts apple butter, clam chowder, and Hostess ho-ho's. And oh, a piece of…

Frankly, it is none of anyone's business and it is tacky for them to ask. Just simply say that you enjoy being single. Period, and end of conversation. If they persist, just gently remind them once again, that you enjoy being single. Otherwise, societal times are a changing, and acceptance is more the norm now.

Thanks so much for the site referal. I saw it too when I was searching, but the problem is that it is only for the meat. These crabs are full of roe. I guess I will have to use regular fish roe as an estimate. This is the season now for these crabs. I have come to like them more than Maryland lump crab, and even more than…

I love them. Stir fry, substitute for noodles in soup, finely chopped and added to tuna salad. The possibilities are limitless, and they take on the taste of the food. Yes, the texture is different, but the fiber is so good for you. \

Thanks everyone for the advice. As I am an expat living in Switzerland, they don't have the same label requirements as the USA. 50% of the items have no nutritional labels. BTW, this is one huge stewing hen. I've never seen one so big. I cut it up in pieces, and froze half for use at a later time. In the crock pot now…

Cleaned out my closet of all the XXL shirts...hello XL. Felt so good. Also today was the first time I could fit into my old waist size 40 pants. Happy day indeed.

Makes sense, but it is frustrating me. I just feel all the well being cold all the time now.

You have some wonderful looking meals. I wish I could cook, but alas that is not my best talent.

Thanks for sharing your experience. You look great and have a wonderful outlook. It motivates me more. Again, thanks

Those turkey spinach meatballs look fantastic. I may have to try to make some myself.

Can egg beaters be used to substitute for the eggs? Thanks for this recipe. I love pumpkin and can't wait to try this one out. Looks and sounds fantastic.

Unfortunately, I live in France for the moment, so Morningstar, Egg Beaters, etc are not available here. But I guess that is ok as I do prefer fresh ingredients that I prepare myself. It is just so frustrating to find ingredients for single servings. I end up throwing away so much good food.
