I have always been told your waist is where your natural indent is our would be. I would say line up with your belly button but I know for me after my surg my belly button is not in line with my waist. And for your hips I was told you line up with your hip socket. I was wondering the same thing. Monday between my normal workout and added activity I burnt 1533cal (no this is not normal for me AT ALL) my goal is 1200 I ended up eating 1343 and was full was going to try a snack but was tired and not hungry so I went to bed with a net of -190 and it got me thinking.

What I do since my hair is so long and gets in the way easy is I pull it half up( to prevent hair slipping out into my face) with a hair clip (my hair is so heavy i get headaches with a ponytail holder that high) then braid it using the pulled back part as the center section starting the braid. For my leslie sanson DVDs i list them as aerobic general since she even states in them its aerobic when i do my ripped in 30 DVDs i list it as circuit since its strength, cardio then, abs in a cycle. I hope this helps.
