I'm 6'1" and LOVE them!! I don't think until recently, that I dated anyone over 5'8" either but they all had issues with me being taller then them.. the new BF is 6'3" and he doesn't mind at all!!!!

My TDEE -20% actually tells me i should be eating around 2500 cals. Im 6'1" and need to lose 100 lbs. my MFP goal is 2175 by choice. i tend to stay between 1800-2000 most of the time .ive lost 3 lbs in the last week. Except that unless he has an actual mental illness that was proven by a doctor, no medical professional would step in forcablly if this man was able to make choices and decisions for himself, thereby his family would not be at fault. They can sugges he get help, they can call 911...but it will not matter. The same scenario…

And at this point, a medical professional would deem this individual mentally unstable and probably keep them locked up for 72 hours. Not even on the same level as eating yourself to 900 lbs.

coming from someone who has worked in the medical field, you cannot FORCE help on a mentally able human being. if they are aware of their choices and decisions and refuse help, that is their decision. no medical person will force themselves upon someone like that, it is called liability.

There SHOULD be programs tailored to include ANYONE who wants to learn healthy nutritional eating habits, and I think it is UNFAIR of an organization to turn away ANYONE no matter their BMI or weight if they need the help.
