Intriguing. What's the address of this gym?

Technically my lunch is an hour but I often come into work an hour + early or stay a little late so nobody cares if I take a long lunch once a week or so. I've been gone up to two hours at a time for runs. Plus I work for four different attorneys so no one ever knows what I'm up to anyway :) I am sweaty when I come back…

Thank you!

Best: Sun! Heat! Less clothing! And my annual girls' rafting weekend! Worst: Not a damn thing

I'm 5'10, 137 pounds. I wear either a size 4 or 6, depending on cut.

I'm at the gym three mornings a week for Boot Camp (1 hour) + I sometimes do another 15 or 20 minutes of weights and core on my own. I run at lunch four days a week, and do long runs on Saturdays. And I do yoga once or twice a week.

If you felt good during your 12 miler - do everything exactly the same. I never eat any gels or anything during a half.

I don't warm up. My first mile is usually a little slower pace but other than that, I don't stretch until afterwards, if at all.

I enjoy my job. I like the work, they treat me well, I make decent money, and my co-workers are some of my best friends. I've been there 12 years and will probably be there until I retire. That being said, it's just a job to me, not any deep seated passion. I'm not sure what that would be. I work to pay the bills, and to…

I live in Bellingham, WA and I'm a paralegal (litigation specialist).

Whenever I have food I want to get rid of, I bring it to work and stick it in the kitchen with an "eat me" sign on it. Poof! It's gone.

When I was 158 pounds I wore a size 10 ..... when I got down to the low 140s I was a solid size 6. Now at 137 I'm either a 4 or a 6, depending on the cut. I'm 5'10. I've always had a small torso; I carry my weight in my hips and thighs.

I run at lunchtime during the week, so by then I've had a banana and a packet of oatmeal. I do my long runs on weekends, and I'll have oatmeal at least an hour beforehand. Tomorrow I'm running a half marathon so I'll have two packets of oatmeal beforehand (I don't like to eat Gu or anything during a race.)

I'm lazy when it comes to messing with food, so I just like to be able to grab something and go. I'll bring a Lean Cuisine or a can of soup - or swing by the deli on my way in and get a sandwich or sushi.

^^^Yes. She's got a great bod.

Exactly. I get up at 4:50am, put on makeup and a cute outfit and go to the gym and work up a serious sweat. And thank the inventors of waterproof mascara.

No prep work; I just did it. I had already been a runner for several years and doing boot camp and other classes for a couple years. Then we had a Biggest Loser contest at work and I think I lost maybe a pound over the course of six weeks. On the last day of that contest a friend of mine told me about MFP and I started…

You were made fun of for being 5'8?! Did you go to a freakishly short school or something? I'm 5'10 and wasn't made fun of for it (maybe I went to a freakishly tall school ..?) At any rate, you certainly shouldn't feel butch about it. Tall girls have long legs .... and those are very nice things to have.

I don't think I've ever actually hated anyone in my whole life. At the moment I can't even think of anyone I dislike. I'm mostly motivated by the mirror.
-
I don't have a lot of faith in them; the scale we used for our office weight loss contest has one and yesterday it said I'm at 16% body fat. Sounds nice but I just don't think that's the case....
-
It depends ... how much clothes is this person wearing? I like those muscles on guys that go right over their hip bones (transverse abdominis?) and shoulders.
-
Doesn't that kind of answer your question?
-
Maybe your shoes are too tight.
-
Mine never grew in the first place.
-
I wouldn't think you'd need anything for a half hour run, but if so - maybe just a banana or a protein bar.
-
I'm not a picky eater and I'd probably eat just about anything on a dare .....(any kind of FOOD, that is) but the only things I can think of that I don't like are coffee and raw carrots (I like them cooked). I try a raw carrot every few years to see if my feelings have changed any. But coffee - blech! There are certain…

I've always been healthy and active, and took being thin for granted. But as I got older a few extra pounds started creeping on ... and I didn't like the looks of those. I realized I was going to have to make more of a concerted effort to stay thin. But I think my biggest motivating factor was seeing some older, overweight…

I have gelato or a candy bar every day .... sometimes both.
