I love compliments of all kinds. I wouldn't think the compliment giver was creepy unless they were drooling or fondling themselves while they were talking to me. So just don't do that.

So far I've got a half in Arizona next month and the North Olympic Discovery Half here in WA in June on my calendar. I believe those are half marathons #21 and #22.

I got a cool singlet and free admittance into races they sponsored and a discount at a local running store. And I attended one really awkward Christmas party. I ended up quitting because I was obligated to volunteer at one race a year and I could never get on with any of the cool races like the trail ultras - instead I'd…

I hadd this car ^^^ and it was also the worst I've ever owned. The oil rings stuck and the engine blew and left 20 year old me sitting with a dead car on a blind curve at midnight out in the middle of nowhere. Before the age of cell phones. Luckily a toothless old truck driver with a facial tic stopped and helped me.

It just doesn't get that cold around here too often (or that warm). The coldest I've run in the Pacific NW is 20 degrees. The coldest I've run in ever was 15 degrees, that was Colorado.

I go to hot yoga twice a week on my non-running days. Although that's more of a matter of scheduling; I think running in the morning and going to yoga later in the day would be great.

1205 in 2012; 1373 in 2013. Goal for 2014 is 1500.

We get a Christmas bonus every year. And a nice lunch with free booze. No complaints from me.

I have Asics Gel Blur 33s - and I'm working my way into Merrell Road Gloves.

We go snowmobiling in Breckenridge every winter - it's a gorgeous town. And I visited Estes Park for the first time this summer. Hiking, horseback riding, bouldering ... ghost hunting at the Stanley Hotel :)

Is it acid rain? I run in the rain all the time. No choice, since I think I live in the rainiest place on the planet. Just dress for it and you'll be fine.

I hated all foods as a child. Dinner each night was an hours-long war of attrition between my mother and I where I would sit staring at her in stoney-eyed silence while she tried to negotiate, bribe, and threaten me to eat at least part of my food. I spent a significant percentage of my childhood sitting at the dinner…

I don't eat or drink anything during a half.

At my last visit my dentist said, "It's always so pretty in here" while looking in my mouth. Which was odd. But I looked and it IS pretty in there.

A little uncomfortable can be fun though.

I haven't hit my "too cold to run" temp yet ... it very very seldomly gets below 20 here in the Pacific NW. The coldest temps I've ever run in were last Christmas in Colorado: 15 degrees. I was bundled up so that was okay.

I'm 5'10. My heighest weight was 158 (close to three years ago) - now I'm at 136.

I work full time, no kids. I get up at 4:45am 3x a week for an hour long boot camp class, and generally either lift weights or run after that. I get to work between 7 and 7:30. I run at lunch 4x a week, long runs on Saturday mornings. I used to do yoga at lunch on my rest day, but I just started hot yoga and that's after…

I've never liked coffee or tea but I used to drink quite a bit of soda. I stopped drinking that several years ago (for the most part; I probably have 3 or 4 a year. Usually with whiskey). I remember being a bit sleepier at first but never had any headaches or anything. Your body adjusts.

My brother lives in Colorado and runs when it's in the single digits. He wears a gator neck and pulls it up over his nose and mouth.

I've decided not to die so I won't require any musical accompaniment.

Bubble wrap, in case I fall out of bed.

Perhaps an incentive based program? Something involving a treadmill and a cattle prod. Earn that turkey!

Mostly I entertain myself - but I am over 18.

I hate clutter and don't like having extra stuff around that I don't need. Anything I couldn't alter (or didn't like enough to pay to alter) I donated.

I ate raw cookie dough the other day - even though the package specifically says not to in big bold letters.

I've done several items on my bucket list: skydiving bungee jumping run a marathon (s) kayak with orca whales I don't really have a current bucket list. I just want to do everything. Swim with dolphins, go in a shark cage, travel more, rock climbing, hike the Kalalau Trail, commit the perfect murder (dammit, I already…
