it's 80% diet, and 20% exercise.
-
you could be building muscle as well.

We can be pushers together! Hahaha. :)

You can do it! Good luck! If you need any encouragement or whatever you can add me as a friend!

Water (and lots of it)! I have been on a plateau as well, but I added MRM Whey Protein ( I like the Dutch Chocolate one) into my diet with 12 oz of 2% milk, and that seems to have helped me a lot. I drink that after I work out- and it has done miracles.

Hello! I am a fellow New Mexican!

Oh my goodness! She's so adorable! I have a red heeler/Australian shepherd mix (1.5 years) and a lab/heeler mix (11 weeks) and those two keep me motivated. Remember.... A tired puppy is a happy puppy. Mack and Molly keep me happy and going on long walks.

Isn't it amazing? I did an hour of straight boxing last night instead of my usually going to kickboxing... And.. I still can't feel my arms. :) Keep it up!

Your body will catch up! Muscle is dense and weighs a little more than fat. Just remember, drink a lot of water to really flush your system. So don't worry if the scale doesn't move for a little while. I've been kickboxing since last August, and I've lost inches, gained muscle but haven't dropped a lot of weight since…

Cucumbers and lemons! Oh my goodness. With lots of ice. It's so refreshing!

Take a breather. Go play with a dog or a cat. :) Also go have a coffee. Or take a wonderfully long bath. I'm sending you a virtual hug.

Yes! But you do need to eat more, 800 calories is not enough, especially if you are working out. I kickbox every other day and sometimes do a two-a-day, so I eat more than 1550 calories... You have to eat!!!! Healthy!!!!

If you are noticing inches go away, that is much better than the pounds! Your trainer must be an idiot, losing inches is much better for you. Dr. Oz ( I know I know) and in women's health I've read that the more inches you lose, the healthier you are all around. So.. Good luck! Bridget

A cup of blueberries or raspberries. There's about 80 calories in both cups, there's a lot of them... And... They're delicious!

You're not doing anything wrong! As a female as well, I started kickboxing, which in turn I have gained a lot of muscle- which weighs more than fat; also if you gain more muscle, you'll burn fat more easily. You should try eating a really clean healthy diet. That's what I do. Keep on with the P90X. Build the muscle, and…

Water! If you're not drinking enough water... Then it will be hard to knock off weight. So, if you start drinking 12 cups of water- I know that seems like a lot... But... It will help. And exercise. And everything in moderation.

Water water water! It helps. I promise!

I had to stop drinking sodas cold turkey. Now I have more energy, and I can eat more real food! I really like the fact that I don't crave sugar as much and that my waist is shrinking. If you really need a carbonated beverage, I like sparkly water with a little pineapple juice.

Hello! I love your attitude!!!!

I am the same way you are! I have struggled with weight since like middle school, and It's a terrible feeling, feeling as though you are in a body that you are not comfortable in. This will definitely help you out! If you'd like to add me as as a friend on here, you can! We can encourage each other and not go on this…

Fantastic post! Thank you so much! :) That's an eye opener- although, I'd choose the apple and avocado over the snickers and jack in the box any day.

Just as long as BYU gets knocked out, I'm a happy camper haha.

Hello and welcome! I study politics and kickbox! :) This sight will help you out a lot. I've had that whole self-esteem issue as well. I've seemed to just find confidence and beauty within myself. Good luck on your journey! :)

That's so wonderful! Lately I've been noticing that my tops that were too tight from last summer are becoming a little baggy on me! My jean size hasn't gone down, but... I'd like to be in a size 10 AE jean by this time next year. 14 to 10 isn't too ridiculous... Right? Keep it up! :) I'm super proud of you!

Calf Raises, lunges, squats. If you target those large muscle groups... You'll burn more fat and you'll get super hot legs. :) I've been kickboxing since last August, and those are things we do non stop. My legs have toned up a lot, and they are looking absolutely fabulous!

I know this sounds silly, but... Brush your teeth after your dinner or after like a certain hour. It'll make you think twice, because you're already squeaky clean!

Hello! You should definitely incorporate daily exercise! Even if it is as simple as walking! i've noticed the dramatic change in weight loss on the 5 week thing, it all really depends on you and what you do. It's just a projected thing. I would consider trying to add high fiber foods into our diet- that is if you don't…

I know how you feel! I had cancer when I was 3 years old, and after I hit puberty, I just blew up. I think by the time I was 13 I had gone from 115 pounds, to a whopping 140 pounds all with in like a year. It was frightening. Now at the tender age of 22, 19 years of being cancer free- I am 182 pounds and I've tried…

That's how I felt when I went to ColdStone Creamery the other day. I felt sick after i ate my ice cream. So I went and did two hours of kickboxing. But, I know how you feel! No more unhealthy food for me anymore!
