Oh and thanks to all those who asked about my singing, I'll update you on how that's all going soon. It's kind of unusual in that I sing with a group of women doing sea shanties! Not the sort of music I would listen to but great fun to sing. We also do some old blues type stuff, mainly what would have been work songs. The…

Huge congrats to batgirl and DT! Welcome to Pokee, that's a really interesting fact! Hope your dogs are on the mend destar, hope you get a break and some time for yourself when you have all that necessary stuff out of the way. Sending sticky thoughts Julia! I have the same thing at times Pam, all I can generally do is…

sorry, new laptop, not really got the hang of it yet! what I meant to say was that maybe the experience of staying with someone else was tougher than he expected and he just wasn't ready for it and probably needed you to say it wasn't working out. It isn't for everyone and I'm sure he couldn't have been made more welcome.…

Quick on from me too as I've been away then working this weekend so not entirely with it. I completely second Jalara's point on physical interventions. What may work for one person might not be so safe or effective for someone else and keeping ourselves and our future babies safe and healthy is what it's all about. Luki,…

Mine's the 26th so on a saturday yay! Happy birthday for the weekened Karen. Shame about your student Luki, you seem to have had such positive experiences before it's a real shame to have a difficult one. Enjoy the break and time with your dad though. Congrats on the 2 pounds! Your group sounds really good MrsJ, let us…

Sorry it wasn't the best news Pam but it sounds like you've made some excellent plans for the next few months and that's such a great attitude to it all. Glad to have you back:flowerforyou:

Fingrs crossed for you Luki! Emily, I'm so sorry for what you're going through (and all those in a similar osition). I can completely understand how horrible it must be. Alisa, I had the exact thing when my OH came back from each deployment. I would be so happy to see him and then found that it was really hard to adjust to…

My partner and I talk about roles a lot, like Luki in a dreaming sort of way. I think I'll have most of the responsibility and because I've worked with tchildren so much he thinks I'm the expert. I've been trying to explain that it won't be like that at all with our own! He's been trying rerally hard to take a more active…

Kim that's fantastic news! I'm so thrilled for you! Many congratulations. Jalara, I'm so sorry that things are so rough for you at the moment. I know it doesn't help much but all those questions and fears are only to be expected especially when you've been through so much. I think taking some time to clear a bit of head…

I use it to (also England) and I found it was really good as a starting point when I got back into exercise. I lost quite a bit to begin with along with changes to my diet and found that I lost inches more than weight so it was helping to tone. Six months in, I'm still using it but I do find that I need to add in more…

off to get some prenatals on next shopping trip (hangs head in shame). It probably sounds really silly but the reason I haven't is because I've been trying to make myself think 'I'm just waiting for my cycles to settle not really, trying, trying' in the same way as I haven't been charting or anything. I think I've been…

Cats are the best, I'd be lost without mine and I'm sure you're right that yours would be lost without you. But as someone else said, I hope you feel able to get more help and support. It may not seem that way now but there are lots of reasons for you to want to live your life even if you can't see them when you feel low.…

Huge hugs to all, we're all going through similar frustrations and feelings of hopelessness about there being an end in sight.
