So workout accomplishments - yesterday I got up at 5am and went swimming. Not for long, only 20 mins or so but I really hate mornings so I was really proud of myself. Then I did a full day at work, went from there to Curves and did the circuit then I went to the other gym and did 35 mins on the cross trainer. Then I went…

screenwash is a blue liquid that goes in the car to wash the windscreens - might be called something different outside the UK. You can buy it at the petrol station or supermarketvery cheaply but it works better than plain water apparently

Happy June everyone!

my gym/pool only has a communal changing area. I'm finding it pretty uncomfortable! Most of the women in there are quite happy stripping off but then they are probably about 60 pounds or more lighter than I am! The only thing worse would be mirrors, I don't need to see myself fighting out of a wet swimming costume first…

The year I first learned to drive, my partner bought me screenwash for Christmas! He figured it wasn't something I would think of myself. We're still together though (and I still hardly ever remember to buy my own screenwash). One year as a penniless student I had the bright idea of buying some pretty Christmassy gift…

Hi all, sounds toasty warm where most of you are! Wouldn't mind a bit of that over here! I am trying really hard to step up my exercise this week and even got up at 5am today to fit in a swim before work! Fingers crossed for some signs of AF this weekend - sounds odd I know but it would suggest a return of a regular cycle…

been away too. Only lost half a pound this week but planning to up my exercise this week so hopefully should see more of a loss from now!
-
I don't know if you should or not but I certainly do. I run at a bit of a deficit through the week and then let myself go over on weekends. It has been working pretty well although I hit a plateau the last couple of weeks and wondred if that might be why. My net for the week tends to be where it ought to be though

Wow tiger, that's ace. Well done!
-
Aww, Katy, that sounds horrible. Hope you get a lift soon
-
yay for us! (even if I didn't help much this week)

lentils and lardons sounds fab. Love the idea of a 'pre-pub' healthy filler too, so much better than kebab on the way home!
-
Great news! Fingers crossed for you

I agree with you. I also prefer the books although I thought Order of the Phoenix was slow to get going. Do we have a final posting weight for the week yet?

Hi all, Thanks for the supportive messages, it's good to know that there are people out there who are so supportive. Welcome to all the new people I haven't said hello to yet! Karen, well done on the great attitude, I really admire the sense of calm that always seems to come from your posts, even when life is tough. Mrs H,…

Hi all, Still catching up after a rainy weekend in the North of England (in a tent :frown: ) So sorry about your friends Kim, but I agree that you should try and talk to them and explain how you feel. It may be that there was/is something else going on and that you're all working on a misunderstanding. It sounds as if it…

I can't get into the spreadsheet but I'm two pounds down this week

Pah! What do they know? We can totally do this!

I don't want to stir up a fight here, but we are supposed to be supporting each other, not being critical. I don't suppose anyone meant to sound that way but things can be interpreted differently by others, especially when it's written down and you can't hear the tone or see the facial expression. We're all going to have…

In no so summery Hampshire, feel free to add me

It's great on the BBQ - I just cut it into large cubes and put it on a skewer with cherry tomatoes then serve with a salad or as an accompaniment to whatever we're having
-
Loving the wedding photos, they even brought a bit of a happy tear to my eye. You all look beautiful and so, so happy
-
That sounds lovely. I made tomato and Harissa soup tonight, bit of an experiment
-
Not a recipe as such but today I am trying kohlrabi for the first time. I've grated it up with some carrot, cucumber, apple and lemon juice and added a sprinkle of fennel and caraway flavoured mixed seeds. Hopefully it will make a delicious lunch! Will let you know later

Welcome April, lots of friendly advice and support here

Wow luki, that really sucks. Well done for coming round to a positive outlook though, that can be hard sometimes. Glad you're feeling better pam. Jalara, i would guess you'll see the loss from all your work next week, that's happened to me a few times. Afm I lost three pound last week but then went a bit mad with the…

I'm UK, more than happy to have a partner if anyone else is still looking for one. Was really bad with my eating yesterday, not quite sure what came over me. I'm feeling really guilty today though although trying hard just to get back on the wagon and not beat myself up about it
