  • I love so many of those foods! I only recently discovered capers, but omg are they SO good! I love feta cheese, broccoli, spinach, sushi, nori, hummus, asparagus, edamame, cabbage, cauliflower, raw or cooked mushrooms...I will eat mushrooms in just about anything. I also like Miracle Whip and I don't know anyone else that…
  • I've lost about 2-3 pounds so far. Not measuring until I am done. :)
  • One of the first things I told my boyfriend 3 years ago, was that my I have four best friends, and two of them were guys. He never had a problem with it then and still doesn't. These guys and I have never had a relationship nor or we even attracted to each other in any way. I treat them as I would any friends. Why does…
  • I just started level 2 yesterday! I was getting bored with lvl 1 as well.
  • Don't forget to see how much your glasses hold. I made the mistake of thinking I had to drink 8 GLASSES, when it really means 8 CUPS (8oz). Apparently, my glasses hold 16 ounces each, or 2 CUPS of water. So really, I only have to drink 4 glasses. :) I felt so silly for not realizing. But that's OK. After drinking for a…
  • I did the same thing. I joined a while back, but didn't look at the forums or make friends. It was no wonder I failed. Now that I have come back and taken advantage of the support the wonderful people here offer, I have found it much easier to stay motivated!
  • I definitely think I will try this out. I was just worried about how sad my upper body strength is! I can only manage 2 pushups and I certainly cannot get very low atm. I am hoping to fix this! So, I think I am going to try! Thank you for pointing this out!
  • That's my boyfriend. He works his butt off all day and comes and just wants to sit down and eat. I suppose the job is why he is so in shape, the only "problem area" is his little belly (that you can't even notice when he has a shirt on.) I suppose he is interested in trying to get a "ripped" tummy, now that he see that I…
  • Oh I wish he would be more interested in eating healthy! He has just shown an interest in working out, but he is so stubborn about what he eats! Let's just say most of the stuff he likes, is NOT very good for me. ;) lolol
  • I would say getting a heart rate monitor is a better idea. I seen people say MFP is too high, low, and just right. It depends on the person. For me personally, since I got my HRM, MFP has been too low! I have been burning way more calories than they say!
  • I think working out is so much more fun with someone else. You can cheer each other on to keep going when you may just stop out of boredom on your own. :)
  • Bump? I know someone out there has to be inspiring someone! Because you guys are awesome!
  • Rusty Newhaven. I must be a broken porn star! O.O lmao!
  • I am 5'4" and 156 lbs and I wear a size 10. At 115lbs, I could SQUEEZE into a pair of juniors 5s but I fit better in 7s. I wonder if I work out enough, if my butt will ever fit into a pair of 5s. That's my goal. To get back down to my smaller size but to have healthy muscle on my hips instead of skinny fat so maybe I can…
  • When I am home alone and bored, I play the Sims 3. Very addicting though. It definitely keeps me from snacking.
  • I am looking to make a lifestyle change that is permanent and I do not like the idea of pills, surgery (at least for me), fad diets, or detoxes. Nope. Eat healthy and exercise. That is it. I may not always do it perfectly, but hey, it's a learning experience for the future. So you are definitely not alone! Feel free to…
  • I have a Polar FT4 with a chest strap and it is pretty awesome. It does what I want it to. It tells me my heart rate, when I am in my "zone" and calories burned. I think it does more than that but I haven't gone out of my way to check them out. The manual says you can even use it to swim! Which is exciting for summer! It…
  • I am 5'4" and at 160lbs I wear a size 10-12, though mostly 10. When I was 120 I wore a size 7 and could almost squeeze into a size 4. Meanwhile, other girls my height could wear smaller pants at the same weight. Apparently I have more hips than some girls. It all depends on body type/style of clothing.
  • I can't say I have ever looked for healthy food at Disney. When I go, it is definitely my cheat day. You do so much walking anyway, that you can usually justify the calories. It is expensive, but I love eating in Japan at Epcot. I always get the Japanese curry rice, and my BF gets the Udon noodles. Yum! Then churros in…
  • That is so my man! He is always working on his car and he is always dirty and sweaty. Somehow I find it terribly attractive! He doesn't have a super hairy chest (just around the nipples and the center), but then he has the "happy trail". Rawr. Of course, he is super hairy from the waist down. He has a hairy booty and I…
  • I love Skyrim too! We are always taking arrows to the knees in my house! ;)
  • Congrats! I want to be the same weight, so I am excited to see your success story! Great job!
  • I did day 8 last night. It is getting easier and doesn't hurt as much after, but it still hurts a lot during! I use 3lb weights for, most exercises. I use 5 lbs for the dumbell rows and the chest flys. I can't use weights for more than half of the anterior raises though. Holy crap those hurt!
  • I finished Day 8 yesterday. It is still hard! I don't hurt as much after, but during...my legs still cry like little b*tches! Keep up the good work!
  • I read that once, and it told me to have a low-protein diet! I feel better when I eat LOTS of protein. That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. Avoid foods that you are allergic to and listen to your doctor's advice and your own body. There's a wacky diet for everything.
  • I have an office job too. I started gaining weight when I got it. I went from 115lbs to 165 in about 5 years. Yikes. I have to force myself to workout when I get home and I have been spending time really trying to focus on my eating habits. Sit down jobs suck when it comes to weight gain! D:
  • I am 5'4" and about 160lbs. I hope to end up in the 120's. :) Add me if you want, I am on a lot.
  • I like Triscuits and Laughing Cow cheese wedges or for something sweet these fruit leather strips from http://www.stretchislandfruit.com/ProductsFruitStrips.aspx . I find them in the organic section of my local Publix, but they are only 45 cals for a big fruit strip. It is like a fruit roll-up for adults but made with real…
  • I would recommend going slowly. Don't try to change everything all at once. Just change one thing and get used to it. For me, the first thing I changed was I quit soda. I didn't change anything else. Then I quit sugary drinks altogether and now I just drink water. It was slow going, but once I got that down, I started…
  • I saw someone on here not too long ago that posted their results. I wish I remembered who they were, but they are definitely there!
