Well done doing the trail, I want to do that 1 myself. I live on the edge of the South Downs Way and walk about 200-250 per month. Not sure about steps per trip though, usually work out mine in miles with mapmywalk

Loads of us find ourselves in this predicament. Some resistance training will help you, as it has helped me and loads of others. Don't be scared by the term "lift heavy" It doesn't mean a mountain of weight, it means what is heavy for you. You won't get bulky and I suspect that like most who gain a little definition they…

"Keiser Toasty " ?

I don't know what that is.... feed it to the gimp

Jif... it's just a spook story you tell your kids, rat on your pop and the jif will get you

Give somebody else the keys to the fridge and then if you really need them , all you have to so is say " Give me the keys you ....... sucker " etc etc Didn't really need to be reminded it was 20 years ago this summer... Memory must be going.... "remember Sammy Jankis "

http://www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/food-sources-of-potassium.php echoing the info already given above, most of the time people are getting more than they realise as it isn't always included on labels or in nutritional info but yes , be careful when thinking about un-needed suppliments

50g myprotein unflavoured whey 200ml normal full fat milk 20g tesco butterscotch flavour angel delight

I guess he would say that it's "phat" too

what ...her original post ( the one I replied to ) makes absolutely NO mention of a 1200 calorie diet.. I wouldn't have even bothered replying had I see that it did... I give up..I only asked you about her original opening post..not all the others... jeez what a muppet
-
If you can fit it in, why not ? As others have mentioned if it becomes a problem fitting in to your allowance then you might have to look at cutting back or a diet version. I reduced my sugar in my coffees over a period of time, it was hard at first but after a while you get used to it
-
sorry I scrolled to her original post and can see no mention of 1200 calories.. again can you see it
-
IMHO it is often meant in a derogatory manner, hence an insult if it directs a young woman here worrying about her appearance. Common usage of a term doesn't mean it cannot be used in an insulting manner..... as I suspect in this case
-
where is this information in her original post ?
-
Ignore the haters .. skinny fat is an insult the same as calling somebody fat or skinny that said , continue what you are doing..exercise wise if you are wanting to see some muscle. You won't get bulky... grab some scales though to be sure of exactly what you are eating, then go from there once you start to understand…
-
Are you weighing your food using a food scale ? How are you calculating your exercise burns or are you not adding them to your calorie allowance ? If you want in depth advice you would be best advised to open your food diary so people can check what you are logging Something doesn't seem right based on the info you have…

Lifting heavy = whatever is heavy for you. Make a start right now... what do you have to lose ? Loads of us were really weak at the start ..men and women
-
The good news is you have given yourself a decent amount of time to realise your goals. Lifting and cardio will help get you there plus a small reduction in your intake and I think you will be happy with the results good luck, take measurements and photos as you go

Bowl of ice cream will have a positive effect on my health,.... it will make me feel happier

Good for you :) I went off on my walk this morning and stuffed a bagful of rowntrees fruit pastiles down dilligaf :)

if it's from a gadget and uploads itself, just edit it in exercises if it's something you enter yourself, ie walking / running 45 minutes and mfp calculates this as 600 calories... then edit that many of us like to keep track of the amount of time we exercise, but don't want over inflated burns hope thats helped

well done girl, not only have you sorted yourself out, you have also helped others with your posts here.

I have always used after shave on popped blisters. Whether or not it's a good idea I am not sure. Could be an old wives tale but it doesn't seem to do mine any harm and I do a lot of miles walking / hiking
-
OP do you have a proper diagnosed eating disorder ?
-
why are you eating low fat stuff ? It seems to be a problem for people to realise that the fat from food just doesn't 100% turn into fat on your body but, try eating normal versions of the foods you enjoy and check your macros again. Just because you're used to eating certain foods , doesn't mean you cannot change and I…
-
Definitely take measurements and photos.... that way if you lose an inch or 2 and the scale stays the same it will / should keep you motivated. As others have said, use the food scale and exercise as means to making yourself feel better and fitter but not just to create a huge deficit
-
good job so far , keep it going. Your progress should drive you on ..but just in case.... go girl you got this !!!
-
and now I am singing "Civil War" by Guns and Roses back on track for the OP I would go slightly less, shift it down to 50% of the guestimation your HRM / Gizmo gives you and subtract whatever you would have burned in that timeframe doing nothing This has worked for me. What you may find is you have to adjust slightly ,…

healthy ? No not really how old are you ?
-
Do you wear a HRM ?
