  • Well put it this way, I'm just under 5'1 and just under 100lb and 1800 calories holds my body weight and I'm a mum of one on my feet most of the day. This does include my workouts which are 3x heavy lifting and 3x pilates per week, so I'm probably burning 600 calories a week there which are factored in already. I honestly…
  • Is that profile picture representative of how you are now? I'm really interested in what answers you get. Arm wise you and I are very similar, I am not far behind you on the tummy muscle front, and I *may* just have slightly more leg muscle visible. I think I'm at about 18%, give or take.
  • UK 4-6 is where I am happiest.. I am back in my Karen Millen UK6's which are comparatively small over here. This is my happy size, my weight is much higher than when I was here pre baby, but I'm packing a shed load more muscle now, so I'm ultra happy about that!
  • It could be worse, you could be famous. Imagine having people trying to get camera phone pictures of you whilst you're in the little girls (or little boys) room under the partition door! I'm usually WAY too into my workout to notice what anyone else is going. They could streak through my gym and I'd probably miss it!
  • Purchasing the merchandise WILL make you pounds lighter. It's just sadly they will be the £ sort of pounds rather than the lb sort of pounds! Weight loss happens (unless your seriously ill) as a result of taking in less calories than you burn. That's a fact. Calorie counting is just one method of intake control, all other…
  • I <3 my vitamix! If you have the TNC then you can make soups in it too, on high speed it heats it up for you. I usually make hot chocolate, protein smoothies and soups, but ice creams and sorbets are fun too! Recipes are all down to personal taste, so it's worth googling because most of my own are probably inedible to…
  • +1 with this. The media is guilty of this too, I've seen lots of articles published recently about how certain new clothing/underwear/dating websites etc measures up for "real women". Apparently all us girls who aren't carrying X+ body fat aren't "real women". Being made out to be some sort of inferior sub-species for…
  • I have 6-8 a day, love them! Glycemic load of a banana is only ~12 too, so they arent actually too bad on blood sugar, especially when consumed as part of something else like a smoothie or protein shake.
  • Fitness, which is just as well as I'm 6.5 inches too short and 73lb too light for that perceived perfection!
  • 1200 isn't 'normal' for anyone. I'm 154cm and 98lb and 1800 calories is normal even for someone much smaller than 'average'.
  • My hubby is 6'1 and broad shouldered. He is always firmly in the 'over weight' BMI group despite being in fair shape, and would look ill at BMI 25. So I don't think it works at all for all tall people, most especially those with muscular frames.
  • I'd love an ad too please! I was planning planks for March and support would be great!
  • For me it's literally anything which combines high sugar and fat levels, so chocolate, cake, sweet pastries, biscuits, brownies, cheesecake and in fact most deserts! I have no problems with crisps/chips/pringles/popcorn/boiled sweets etc. It's that evil fat/sugar combo which I just can't control.
  • Definitely more attention from both men and women. Admittedly the attention I get from women is even more unwanted than the attention I get from men. I find as I get closer and closer to my normal slim self then women (strangers/acquaintances not meaning friends) make increasingly nastier and nastier remarks. I felt like a…
