The main problem I see from this "hippy movement", are comments from people out in public in regards to odors. Like I said, we all know some people don't bathe, or wear deodorant. And some people don't like to inhale dirty *kitten* smells from people, I, being one of them. Rude or not, I always make comments so the culprit…

This is really still going? lol...

Fine with me. I personally do. Well... not shave, but electric trimmer the hair off.

To scare criminals when I approach. No one wants to mess with a huge powerlifting police officer that's tattooed up. And to scare my daughters boyfriends when she's old enough to talk to boys.

I've ran the PHUL method, and Wendler 5/3/1. Granted I only powerlift, but both are excellent programs. Stronglifts 5x5 is for newbies, but still a good program I've Cream Fitness from Jason Blaha is a joke. He's a joke, and has some severe mental issues that needs to be addressed.

Genetics and squats. People really overlook how genetics play a factor in body composition. But squats will hit those parts good. Weighted lunges, and good mornings.

In order to gain MUSCLE MASS you need to be in a surplus of calories. Example.... your maitence intake is say... 2100. So, in order to "bulk", you'll need anywhere over 2100. Personally when I bulk in winter I go 500 over maitence. But, there's also a SLOW controlled way. Add in 100-200 over maitence for a few weeks and…

In my opinion, I think it's rank. It's a proven fact that hair holds in body odors. But being clean and having proper hygiene and it won't be an issue, but, it is a huge issue for some people.... try going to Wal-Mart on a hot Sunday and you'll see what I mean.

The label is for raw weight UNLESS. Like I said, some companies put an additional label in the package for cooked weight, it's inly for people who weigh cooked instead of raw, that's the only reason... which is silly, but whatever. And yes. If you weigh 6oz. of chicken raw (not frozen with ice caked on it, but thawed) and…

Like another mentioned, it's not needed. It's pretty much Koolaid. But if $ isn't an issue go for it... I use Scivation. Mango flavor is trash also. And I also drink Gatorade Zero for cramps, followed by Pedialyte at night.

Avoid the charts man. People are making this way more than what it is. If you want to be a powerlifter and build STRENGTH ( you will develop muscle, but not like a bodybuilder) then stick to 1-5 reps and HEAVY *kitten* weight. I've done powerlifting since I was 14, I have a decent amount of mass. Sure, I've seen dudes…

You don't need to avoid "junk". Learn to control your food intake and fit those junk foods you like into your daily calorie intake. Avoiding a food you enjoy, will only lead to binging sooner or later.
-
It's raw weight, unless it has a second label for cooked. I know some products do like Tyson tenderloins.
-
Tried it once too... ended up down the drain after one sip.

So why are you continuing to argue about it? No one needs more than 0.8g, even on a cut, unless their on Tren, DBol, EQ, etc. I stuck with 0.8 since I started training and I can assure you it works. You're telling people to carb cycle too.... why? You can continue to argue about it, but there's a reason these guys I follow…

Why would I need to do a search? There's nothing I need to see here at all. You're going to help me out? Lol. When you hit 670dl raw help me. I'm stuck at 670

http://bayesianbodybuilding.com/the-myth-of-1glb-optimal-protein-intake-for-bodybuilders/. From Alan and Lou combined, more than sufficient for me.

It's a straight up gimmick. I just enjoy my coffee with creamer and Splenda.

The articles are all the same. I'm not sure which you're talking about, but this is the max. Sure, you can go beyond, but it's absolutely pointless, even in a cut. I suggest you read Lou Schoullers articles because you seem to believe in some bro theories.

I don't need to add you to help ya man. If you're trying to drop some weight, just stay within your calories. If you feel like eating a poptart in the morning, do it. Just be mindful of meals you might want later in the day. Make sure you get your protein, carbs, and fat. Personally foods high in protein (chicken, beef,…

If you have calories left, and you're hungry.... eat. If you eat at like 11:12pm, go to bed at 1am, and wake up at 6am and weigh yourself you'll be heavier due to water retention and the food you consumed at 11 not being fully digested, that's it.
-
You only need 0.8g per lb. of. body mass. Layne Norton, Alan Aragon, Lyle McDonald and others have posted articles as to why. You only need more than 0.8g if you are on gear. Let's say your protein daily goal is 60g, and you end up consuming 100. That's fine. If weight loss is your only goal, then calories should be your…

First, to lose weight you only need to reduce your calorie intake. There's no need to cut carbs unless your a bikini competitor weeks away from stage and you need to look "dry". Weight loss is from a deficit in calories, not carbs. Don't demonize a macro because you've seen Dr. Oz on Oprah do it.

Read this and understand why it's a waste. This article is from a world class bodybuilder / powerlifter and coach: https://www.t-nation.com/training/olympic-shoes-or-chucks-for-squats

Heavier weights + less reps = strength gains (powerlifters) Less weight + more reps (10+) = hypertrophy
-
In my honest opinion... unless you're squatting 400+ for reps, save money... and get Chuck Taylor's. Someone squatting under 400 doesn't need 200 shoes just for lifting... it's silly.
-
I follow Jim Wendlers 5/3/1 program to a T. I see it as there's a reason he's a world class powerlifter / coach / and trainer and I'm not.

Usually, on my max effort days, or when I re-test maxes, I do a whole can of Monster zero, and one scoop on my pre-workout. You won't die, you'll be fine. But normally it's just my preworkout and about 50-100g of PURE cards (gummi bears/worms, twizzlers, sour patch kids, etc.)

Pretty much anything I want. morning is a few eggs and two servings of oatmeal.... or two servings of whey mixed with milk and coffee lunch is usually 8oz. of bison, steak, or chicken, or sausage... sometimes tuna with mayo dinner always consists of a meat or fish with veggies, potatoes (fries), or rice. then I eat…

Personally, if I were you, I would go see a sports nutritionist. Tell them what the doctor said about calorie intake, and see what they say. I'm no doctor, but this doesn't seem right at all. I understand the joint aspect, as it very well may be due to excess weight on the joints over a long period of time. But 1000 or…
