  • Sounds right.... one serving of spinach from Del Monte contains 30 calories, and 260g of sodium. If you don't have medical diagnosed issues with sodium intake, don't worry about it.
  • I weigh my foods, and eat "clean" for breakfast and lunch. After that, it's anything I want. I just make sure to hit my protein goal for the day. And despite anything else, your body doesn't know the difference between carb sources. It's already been tested, and proven by both Layne Norton and Alan Aragon.
  • Good luck with that man. You're going to feel bloated as *kitten*.
  • low fat foods are: Chicken Steak Some pork Protein powders / bars Yogurts / G youreek Yogurt Egg whites Turkey And even if you do exceed your fat intake, but are within your caloric goal, who cares. I'm not sure what your goal is.... to lose weight, or gain mass, but for general weight loss, calories are the deciding…
  • 1st, you DO NOT need a pre-workout. If your diet & nutrition is on point somewhat, that should be more than sufficient to fuel your workout. Having said that, I believe a lot of the ... *kitten* .... you buy at GNC is trash, it's loaded with fillers, C4 for example, is loaded with garbage. Personally, I use:…
  • Just log and stay within your limit. I eat from midnight, all the way until 5 am (I game hard on weekends since I work during the week) and just log it all for the day and eat accordingly.
  • So many misconceptions in your words it's unreal. My wife was on the verge of pre-eclampsia with our daughter due to her BP, and her weight was more than fine, weight plays no factor in that category, so try again. Any OB will tell you not to go on a diet while pregnant, ours did... all 3 of ours did. And even the…
  • Glad to see a mother who's more worried about her weight, instead of focusing on her baby who's continually growing and needs excess calories / nutrients. Like others mentioned, talk to your DOCTOR.... please lock / delete this retarded *kitten* thread.

  • This is something you need to seek medical advice from, from a PROFESSIONAL. Don't *kitten* around with your heart.
  • there is no bad" food. Weight gain is caused from an abundance of calories (eating more than you should), not choosing a salad over a cookie. go to: http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ Figure out your caloric intake, eat at that intake level, and lose weight.
  • If you're going for general weight loss, then just stick within your caloric range. If you find you aren't real hungry in the AM or at lunch, skip it.... and just eat a larger dinner with a dessert. :)
  • Why do you think you NEED them? Are you medically diagnosed as being deficient in a certain vitamin? In fitness, you don't NEED anything. Sure.... some things help, but absolutely NOTHING is needed. Having said that, two things that MIGHT benefit you are a multi-vitamin (wal-mart brand is more than fine, despite what…
  • This is SOMEWHAT related. A very good read if you have a few minutes to spare. Paul Carter knows his *kitten* too. http://www.lift-run-bang.com/2014/05/if-youre-fat-and-lose-weight-youre.html
  • That's all I told her? Really? You better develop better reading comprehension skills. I told her the problem & solution. And tossing an opinion at the end, AFTER answering her question is "derp"? Amazing the lack of intelligence & comprehension in adults (if you are one even) now days. I never told her she was fat in any…
  • You can't target reduce fat from a certain area. Just eat in a caloric deficit, and eventually they will go away, or be reduced. There are no magic foods, pills, shakes. etc. Calories matter for weight loss.
  • You can do 300 crunches and 300 leg raises a day to BUILD the muscle. But, if you don't shed the fat overtop of the abs, they won't show. And no, you can target reduce fat from a certain area. Fat loss happens on random spots, and it's different for every individual. Abs are overrated anyhow. "Hey look at me, I have…
  • Depending on how often you workout and HOW you workout, 1200 might be way to little in terms of caloric intake. And also, carbs don't cause fat loss / gain. So there's no reason to go low carb. UNLESS you are told so by a licensed medical professional. IE; a doctor.

  • why low calorie / low carb? Anyhow... chicken breast and a salad, or steak and a salad.

  • I recommend front squats as an accessory exercise. It really helped me build up quad strength. Go light on them at first if you're new, if not, you could easily get hurt due to the awkwardness of the bar position.
  • That's all opinion. Depending on how hard he does in cardio is an other story. And what he considers "strength" training is relevant as well. I wouldn't call benching 200, strength, by any means.
  • That's not a study... it's all biased opinions. Absolutely no proof what so ever. All I see is "believed to have died from drinking too much during exercise". Don't go drinking gallons on gallons of water while you workout, but, if you're thirsty drink until content. I've done it for years now. I'm not dead.
  • 1200 calories, 5 days a week exercise..... what are you? An 80lb. teenage girl? You need to eat more. Like previous posters said, unless you're eating ALL meat, you're consuming sugar. Your body doesn't need to detox at all. It does that on it's own.
  • I REALLY enjoy roast beef cheese wraps. I use Flatout bread wraps 2 servings of Oscar Meyer roast beef 1 slice of low fat cheese microwave for 15 seconds.... great. And even though I'm far from being a vegan, I really like Boca Burgers too.
  • Coke Zero Vanilla = GREAT
  • It's not overly hard, it's just not a sustainable lifestyle unless you're a competitor doing that idiotic *kitten* for a living.
  • Let me know how 30 days of steak and eggs go. Stupid *kitten* "challenge", imo.
