Are you watching The Walking Dead or some other show with a guy named "Rick?" Here's how he was spineless this season, just from my memory: 1. Lured two zombies away from Sophia, then ambused them and killed them with a big rock. 2. Gave blood transfusions to his son to the point where his health was in danger. 3.…

You know it's funny, as a reader of the comic that is EXACTLY what Rick's character is supposed to be. He's a flawed character, no question. He stuggles with leadership because no one else steps up, and he makes very bad decisions. I think it's our tendency to expect the leading man to be a flawless hero, but nope, that is…

Watch them right now on Amazon streaming for $1.99 an episode. It stays in your account forever: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JF87VS/ref=sr_1_1_vod_0_lgo?ie=UTF8&s=instant-video&qid=1331839291&sr=1-1

Watched it for the third time (why the heck not!) and yep it was right before Daryl and Rick were about to take Randall out and drop him off. Daryl was loading up the truck.
-
I think the only thing effecting his brain at that point was Lori.
-
I think someone said in another post that Daryl mentioned he knew his gone was gone. I have watched the episode twice and didn't notice him saying that. The first thing they should have done was MAKE CARL TAKE IT BACK. Then give Carl another gun. And make sure everyone else has one, including the cows.
-
He's just a kid growing up in zombieland. Cut him some slack. Otherwise, I think your theory is right on about everyone is just already infected. I don't know about Rick being immune though. It wouldn't seem to matter even if he was, if a zombie bites your face off you're going to die anyways. These things don't seem to…

Given the trauma of what had just occurred, I am not surprised his situational awareness was a bit off-kilter. What's even funnier is the scene they released for next episode of Carl and Rick having a heart to heart right after it happened, and then they slowly notice the crowd in the background.

Old Yeller dies?!? Hahahahaha, sorry, I sometimes find myself being humourous, and I felt the need to share my sarcasm. Hope it made someone else giggle too
I knew someone would do that.
Beat me to it. The other problem with discussing the comic is that some people have said they want to…

To be honest ladies, I try to avoid talking about the comic too much for that reason, but so much has changed up, there is no guarantee that everything will be exactly the same.
-
I doubt the cold is an issue. There was a random walker roaming around that got dale and also the walkers eating the cow at the beginning of the episode. That whole conversation was about security.
-
I don't think anyone would disagree with you. I wouldn't, but that has major differences than the random criminal rape that Randall described at the beginning of the episode.
-
Ok, I see what you mean. It sounded to me like Randall knew where they were camped last, but wasn't sure if they were still there. I thought the same thing about the "great time" comment, but I perceived what Shane said to the kid was all lies to get the kid to let his guard down so shane could pounce on him and snap his…

And if T-Dog is Tyrese from the comic, I think they missed out on a valuable story-telling opportunity with regarding his daughter and her boyfriend. I will say no more. It's weird to try to not spoil anything from between the comic and the show considering the difference, especially with characters that don't even exist…
-
I am not sure I quite understand what you mean there, but all of your other assessments about Shane I agree with. I was a Shane supporter, but the moment he snapped in the shed was the moment he crossed the line for me. I could no longer support him. In a way I am glad they made me hate him at the end.

I think the gang of 30 will show up with the Dad and Son from Episode one, and they will both know the secret that Jenner told Rick.and Yes I agree that Merle Dixon will be there. All 33 of them will also know how all this zombiness started. Might be some other "plot holes" that get filled in too. Ok, maybe I am a…

I couldn't help to think in the beginning when T-Dog had the hammer, please don't try to make him into Tyrese replacement. And with Carol, I think she serves a purpose in staying around. If they keep her close to the comic, some interesting things happen with her that could translate well into the show, but that stuff may…

I like just about everything you have to say! When Rick told Carl to keep the gun, I was thinking what the Hell it's Daryl's gun for crying out loud. Make him take it back to Daryl, cause I think Daryl would understand and maybe even be proud of him on some level.
-
Don't forget taking out the two guys in the bar, and I guess the boatload of zombies should also count. Interesting theories on if Rick knew everyone is already infected from what Dr. Jenner told him? It didn't seem that way since he turned his back on Shane. And why not tell the rest of the group that detail unless he…

OMG I know I could wake up to those dreadlocks every morning! ;) I think I am fine with how they are slowly releasing information about the zombies. Like in the comic, it really doesn't matter. It's not like there will be a story arc where they race for the cure and end up saving the world. Hope all the "not enough…

Totally agree. Rick is not a wuss. You can list all the things he's done this season to see he is not. What is is really guilty of is making some really bad calls. All of the time.
-
They shot Dale in the head, so no chance of The Zombie Dale being a problem.
-
Unless Herschel has some DNA test kits in his veterinarian supplies, I am not sure how we'd ever know! Unless Maury Povich survived the zombie apocalypse!
-
Good catch, it was definately boxes of ammo, but I think it was a made-up brand. I didn't make the connection from what Andrea said either, not bad.
-
Yep, my love for Andrea in the comic has allowed me to overlook her shortcomings in the show. I hope we see Tyrese someday.
-
Welcome to the world of zombie media, where the rules change from movie to movie. I do think zombies would freeze and slow down quite a bit.
-
It could be Woodbury survivors, but Randall make them sound like they are more nomadic. Still could be though, they change up enough things.
-
Yeah I remember because that was one of the very few zombie kills that episode. :ohwell:
-
Maybe they're in "starvation mode" and need to adjust their resting metabolic rate?
-
Can't remember if they showed a bite on her. Maybe she died from the elements or exposure and came back without being bit? Maybe she did get a bite or "scratch" from a lone zombie and was able to slip away? Zombism...not an exact science.
