  • I didn't blog, but I kept my fb updated for my last labor because I'm in Hawai'i, and all our friends/family are in East Coast Canada and Michigan. And it was 1am.....and like you said, it helped keep me focused on something other than the pain. I like reading about other peoples birthing experiences.
  • This was what I was going to say, except the lightweight part haha! I don't mind a few drinks, especially if it's a once in a blue moon thing with your bff like you're saying. But its the drunken munchies you need to worry about.
  • I'm an ex-gamer, and my husband is a gamer, and this is basically it haha. And people don't understand it, but like gambling, and food, and sex, gaming is an addiction. Ever hear people say world of warcrack, or that such and such game eats your soul? its for a reason. it took me about 4 months to >completely< quit my…
  • I must say, I'm quite offended by the title "Are you Mom enough?" My first son I bf until he was 8 months old, then I dried up, mostly because he just wasn't interested and wouldn't sit still. My youngest I PAINFULLY bf until he was 3 months, when we found out he's lactose intolerant and we had basically been starving the…
  • For the most part I'm the same. I've gotten a LOT better since deciding to make this change though. I do have my moments though where it's not that I just want something, I >need< it, and even if I have to go to the store to get it at 10pm I'm going. Usually a few bites into whatever it is though I start feeling guilty.…
  • Not everyone joined here to get support. For the most part, people who join with the phone app don't realize that it's more than just a calorie counting tool. It was a few months before I actually logged onto MFP on my computer and realized that there was a whole community here. And support is just a bonus.
  • It's probably just water weight. Cut your sodium down and keep hydrating and doing what you're doing and you'll be fine. Takes your body some time to adjust to changes.
  • Mine used to be open, but I wasn't being completely honest with myself, and then the days where I didn't log everything and it would appear as though I was undereating people would compliment me on that. That would mind eff me a little and my brain would go "yeah! tomorrow! eat a lot less. your friends like it, and you'll…
  • This is exactly what I did. After having a few days where I would forget to log a meal, or worked out so much I couldn't eat back my calories, and people telling me they were great or awesome days, I did away with that nonsense. I don't comment on diaries anymore because of this.
  • OMG I hope my feet get smaller the more weight I lose!! I wear size 12, and do you know how hard it is to find cute shoes, or really, any shoes most of the time??? And my feet are wide too, so I hope that changes too! As for height, I hope I don't lose height!! But I would buy the fat between the vertebrae suggestion. Time…
  • switch it to root beer and sold! :P
  • omg chorizo and carnitas aaaaaahhhhhhhh     I WANT MEXICAN FOOD.....right now......must call my mexican friend......
  • I've been meaning to, but just keep forgetting to find out if I would qualify (like, what meds are not approved and such). However, the last time I donated anything, it was cord blood, so that counts as like triple or something, right?
  • DON'T DRINK THE WATER!!!! Are you working, or visiting? Because when I vacationed in Mexico for 2 weeks a few years ago, I lost weight, because I was out walking and swimming and just being active. Jealous that you're spending a summer there.
  • If you're taking birth control, talk to your doctor. Melatonin can interact with it.
  • Born and raised in Hali, living in Honolulu HI now :) Feel free to add if you'd like!!

  • My husband always tells me that the best thing is to walk fast enough that you feel like you want to run. Then walk that fast for awhile, then run, then slow down to the fast walk again. Either way, getting off the couch and doing ANYTHING is better than sitting on the couch. Do what you find less boring.
  • Nothing Compares 2 U - Sinead O'Conner Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley Hurt - Johnny Cash Don't Wanna Miss a Thing - Aerosmith Probably more but those are the first I could think of
  • My two boys are Benjamin and Aiden. We love love their names, for whatever reason hah. But until I was 30 weeks pregnant, Aiden was supposedly a girl, and her name would have been Sophia Elizabeth. Other names we like though are Adalyn, Zoey (too popular now though), and Morgan for girls, and Caleb, Joshua, and Gregory for…

  • The first time I don't think I was really mentally ready for it, I kept getting sick (still do *cry*) and was told my youngest needs to be tested for autism and it made me sad instead of motivating me to become a better me so I can help him be the best he can be. Then I actually >looked< at myself in the mirror one morning…
  • You should ask your dr to test for Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease.
  • omg I saw a lady knitting on the highway once too! i had to look like 4 times to make sure i was seeing correctly haha! then my husband sped by because we didn't want to be involved if an accident happened haha
  • I think that just because there's a laughing face emote after, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a joke. I could put a laughing face emote after everything I type, but that doesn't mean it's a joke. I could be putting that just to lessen the blow of the post. As for everyone saying use the search button, at what point is…
  • The song alone makes me cry every time I hear it. Adding in that amazing video, and I'm feeling more motivated than ever. Thanks for posting this.
  • Haha douche in America is basically an enema for your vagina.
  • Does it count that I was laughing at my husband and happened to glance in the mirror?
  • I want to finally feel comfortable being naked around my husband and have sex with the lights on.......
  • I know the elementary schools here, and I think even the middle schools, wear a "uniform" which is khaki bottom, and the school t-shirt. Not a polo, just a t-shirt with the school logo and name on it. That wouldn't bother me too much, but my kids are both under 4 right now, so ask me again when they're in school haha! The…
  • Some kids you just can't make them do it until they're ready. We tried and tried with my oldest, but he just pee'd and poo'd all over the floors. So after about 3 days of that we put the pull-ups back on, and about 5 months later he decided he was ready and he never had any accidents. I think a lot of it was him watching…
