I learned something today...marrow is a type of squash in England. I was going to suggest having your butcher cut it in half and roasting it in the oven, slathering it on nice crusty bread with some nice sea salt. And serving with a nice big napkin for wiping up the drool you produce....mmmmmmm bone marrow.

Was it a migraine? If so and you get them frequently you might want to visit the doctor. Even non migraine headaches that happen very frequently can warrant a doctor visit. If you cut out caffeine recently that might be a cause of headaches. I know I got them a lot in the first bit after cutting way back on sodas.

Get a water filter for your tap? We used to have funky water and used Brita pitchers as well. I hope you find a solution that works for you because water starts to get kind of awesome once you start drinking it more often.

I tried Dr Poon and switched to Dr Tang when I wasn't getting results. The Poon>Tang transition was a bit hard to get through but once in it loosened up nicely.

Only 5 days in so far on MFP but started mapymywalk 2 days earlier. Last week I walked 15 miles, can't recall ever doing that in a week. Yesterday on my walk when I was approaching the I don't think I can walk any longer moment, I put The Clash "Live at Shea Stadium" album on and did another mile :)

I'm just starting out but last night after a sensible dinner at home (6oz of new york strip and mixed vegetables) instead of having a cup or bowl of ice cream, i drank 2 glasses of ice water

Definitely something I'll consider in the future as the journey progresses. My plan definitely isn't to give up foods I enjoy but to eat less of them and make smarter choices. One of those smarter choices as least for me for a while will be to stop drinking so many of my calories. I enjoy food much more than sugary…

Just signed up a few minutes ago and thought I would post a few times before introducing myself formally in a thread. After inputting my days worth of foods I can see some changes will need to be made in my diet to get to my goal. But at the same time I am not in any hurry to get there either.
