Traditionally it has grated cucumber but often I leave this out as I put sliced cucumber on my sandwich (as well as grated carrot), or put cucumber in my salad. My Tzatziki has greek yogurt, chopped mint,…

  • I like you, need a personal challenge (food, not exercise based). I used to be the leader in TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and we regularly had games, challenges etc. It is harder when you are online though. I would like an online buddy who has similar goals as me, issues etc. I am 42, weigh 188 pounds, 5'7, married 22…

  • I don't normally watch the biggest loser but last night I caught the part where each member had to climb up a hill wearing a backpack loaded with the amount of weight they had lost...what an emotional thrill and a sad reality. Each one swore they would never go back. I think it is a good thing for us all to do, whether 5…

  • Thank you for your comments.....actually, Aunt Karen, I think the biggest issue is that I don't feel physically well these past two weeks. I have had tests done that have come up clear but I feel like I am falling apart. It is making me feel depressed. I wondered if my body was detoxing possibly? Well, I have to go to work…
  • Hi everyone....well it was my week two weigh in today. I lost 2 pounds (2nd week on MFP). I should be happy right but for some reason I seem sad and disappointed. I worked very hard to lose this week and really hoped for about 4 to 5 pounds as I know my calorie intake is a lot less than in previous weeks and months and I…

  • I make 2 cups on Sunday using the steel cut oats, apple juice instead of water, cinnamon and raisins. I eat half a cup for breakfast during the week, sometimes cold, sometimes heated up. No need for sugar and butter and milk because this is so flavourful. Karen.
  • I wanted to ask, for foods that have already been entered in the system, like Scrambled eggs, do they take in account butter or margarine they may have been cooked in? Karen.
