It's already canned in water, so I suggest rinsing those off and eating them anyway. I'm not sure about packet tuna but I can't imagine it being much different. Hopefully someone knows otherwise. If you don't want to eat them, though, you could try exchanging them for low-sodium or donating them to a food bank.

To begin hitting your calorie goals, I suggest adding some kind of liquid (Slimfast, Ensure, Boost) to your meals. At 170 kcal/can, one SlimFast with each meal should get you much closer. Green smothies are the best. I use a banana, water, basically whatever other fruit I want (but NEVER blueberries, they change the texture of the smoothie and it becomes terrible for some reason) and then throw in some spinach. Often I stick with bananas/water/spinach or add some strawberries to that.
