  • I agree! You might want to check out Eating Clean. Tosco Reno has many books on it and there are magazines and websites that also promote it. It is going back to basics and not eating as much processed foods. They have menu plans to get you started and they absolutely work. Good luck
  • I agree with the natural look, but if going out some smoky eyeshadow is good along with lip gloss and bronzer I don't usually leave home without foundation and wear mascara as my eyes are so small, when i smile they are little slits. The glasses aren't helping me either.
  • I agree with the above but also introduce more protein in your diet if you are working out. Your muscles need this to repair and build. You can also look into "Clean Eating", my sister inlaw has had huge success with this (since July she has lost over 40 lbs and over 40 inches). The whole principle to to cut out processed,…
  • Well yesterday was suppose to be day one of P90X but ended up with fever, chills and body ache. Feeling better today, so should be starting after work. Is there any specifics that this group should be reporting? Should we post how we did daily and then our losses weekly?
  • Just got back from Mexico for my Wedding and needing to get back into a routine, I'm in! Was doing an outdoor bootcamp for the last 5 months so hopefully i'm up for it. Bring it!
  • Your appetite will increase with strength training, expecially in the beginning, Make sure you eat back the calories you burn and include more protein, that should ease the hunger. If you still find you're hungry, then i would think it is emotional eating. If your already tracking your foods and excersize, track your…
  • One more thing! Make sure you eat foods that will keep the energy going during workouts. "Tosca Reno-Eating Clean" speaks alot about this and also the P90X Menue plans follows a similar principle of "Eating Clean" (no processed foods). They also speak to the importance of protein and protein shakes.
  • Try "Eating Clean" the combination of foods should keep you feeling satisfied longer. If your tummy isn't rumbling, then your not hungry just bored (emotional eating) or eating out of habit. You can also try eating by the clock: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and snack at at the same time everyday. Your body may…
  • Love this idea! I will need to remember this one! The whole eating when your stressed, depressed, happy, mad, bored..... is all emotional eating. There are some great books out there that will help you develop skills to get you through. I don't think the cravings will ever go away but when the cravings are do to…

  • You will feel week or nauseous after a work out if you haven't eaten enough. I've even physically gotten sick because i didn't feed my body after working out and didn't eat enough before either. It's kind of a balance of knowing how much to eat and when you should before and after. I usually eat an hour before and then…
  • The pants i bought last year after losing 30lbs fit again, after putting 20 back on this year! They are almost too big now! yay
  • Try "Eating Clean" by Tosca Reno! It's more of a lifestyle change but has amazing results. In 12 weeks my sister in-law had lost 33lbs and 30inch (10 of which came off her adomin and 6 came off her waist in the first 7 weeks). She is still having a steady weight loss averaging 3lbs a week. She also joined Bootcamp with me…
  • Sign up for some kind of work out group. I love bootcamp and currently we are still outside but by the end of october, it will be moved indoors. Nothing like that crisp cold air to make you feel alive!
  • Good for you! My progress has been a little slower but still losing so that's what counts.
  • Stretching, lots of water & protein to heal & feed the muscle and pain meds!!!!!!!!
  • My McDonald's Large Triple Triple!
  • Well said! I recently started noticing some comments other's have posted when responding to someone looking for help. I'm disgusted by it and hope that this site is being monitored and delete either the comment or the individual posting the comment.
  • Have you tried joining a group? I signed up for bootcamp and the trainers and participates are amazing. We have the same goal of getting healthy, so the support from all is great.
  • It's casual work day so I decided i was ready to wear my "BMS Bootcamp" shirt, which is very stretchy and shows all the curves. I thought this was a good way of letting people know where this new body was coming from and they noticed. I've never had so many comments about the weight I've lost and how good i'm looking.
  • Congrates! I like your idea of setting smaller goals 5-10lbs instead of 20 or more. Seems more achievable!
  • Today I noticed that my boobs look smaller!

  • I just found this thread and will be starting today, October 3, 2011. I've been doing bootcamp for the last 3 months and decided to try this out instead. Can I join? I've been looking for a support group to do this with, i can just use a couple free days to catch up!
  • I'm going to be starting this today! I've been doing boot camp since June and thought i would give P90X a try! Is there anyone starting today? Would like to join a support group if so.
  • I finished my first run/walk on September 18th and was so energized by it that I've been doing it twice a week for the last couple weeks. The last time i can remember running in anything was when i was still in Junior high. I'm only at 4 minutes running and 1 minute walking but they say that for weight loss, that it's the…
  • There is a lady here at work doing it and last i spoke to her, she was on cycle 1 Day 11 and down 10.5lbs. She had to completely change her eating and start drinking water so this is why the big loss.
  • Do you have Dance Dance Revolution? My girlfriend swears by it and she lost over 100lbs most of it due to doing this. Just strap on some weights to your legs and wrists.
