I am 5'1". CW-235 TW-220 by Halloween 9-14: 232.5 9-19: 231.5 9-26: 230 10-3: 228 10-10: 228 10-17: 223.5 10-24: 222 Was able to walk more this week, so lost 1 1/2lbs, 13 lbs since challenge started. Really think I will make my goal!!

Why don't you try to motivate them? Invite a family member to workout with you. Or choose a breast cancer or MS walk they might get behind and train for the next walk/ run event together. You might be surprised at their response .

I am 5'1". CW-235 TW-220 by Halloween 9-14: 232.5 9-19: 231.5 9-26: 230 10-3: 228 10-10: 228 10-17: 223.5 Strained a groin muscle last week and had carpal tunnel surgery this week. Haven't been able to get in any exercise so really watched my intake. Evidently it was enough! Lost 4.5 this week, 11.5 since challenge started.

Please just do what the medical professional suggested and follow up with them timely. I'm sure most of us on mfp have had constipation due to our changing diets, and all have something that has worked for us. This is now past home remedies. Why are you keeping your carbs do low,? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes 2 and my nutritionist told me to keep carbs around 135-180 grams per day; 30-45 per meal and 15 per snack and 3 snacks per day. I've been following this and my fasting sugars are steady within normal limits every day.
