June 2002, age 35 and about 200 lbs. I spent most of my 30's like this peeking at 207 lbs in 2005 when I decided to get in shape. October 2007, age 41 and 165 lbs. May 2011, age 44 and maintaining at about 165 lbs.

The old British car thing runs in the family, here is my parent's one from 1969.

I'm with you! At 45 I've found my 40's to be vastly better than my 30's.

I lost the weight about 6 years ago and looking back it was because I felt like my marriage was falling apart and I foolishly thought it was because I had let myself go during the 15 years I had been married. I had in fact let myself go but that was not why the marriage was falling apart and I was down to my pre-marriage…

Agreed, that's what the tooth fairy does here.

My first jobs were summer jobs as a dishwasher at a local restaurant starting when I was 13 or 14. After I turned 16 I switched over to working as a stock boy / sales person at a building supply place since I needed a year round income to support my car and girlfriend.

I'm 45. When I was 39 I decided I needed to get in shape and drop the weight that had been slowly adding up over the previous decade. I lost about 50 pounds over the next year and a half. Now it's a matter of maintaining and while there have been ups and downs since then I've managed to stay in the healthy range which I'm…

Sorry, this is my first time trying to post a picture. Here's one more attempt. Here is our trio of convertibles, my 1963 Sunbeam Alpine and 1999 Porsche 911 plus my wifes 2006 Mini Cooper. We also have a 2006 Toyota Sequoia which is the only vehicle we have which will actually carry the whole family.

Let's see, a few of my favorites would be: Macallan 18 yr. (Probably my overall favorite but a bit too pricey to have often). Lagavulin 16 yr. if I'm in the mood for an Islay, it's so wonderfully smoky. Aberlour 12 yr. for Speyside. Aberlour A'bunadh is my favorite for a cask strength, I just love the intensity of the…

My high was 207 pounds back in late 2004/early 2005. I dropped down to a low of 157 pounds in mid 2006 and have been stable at around 170 give or take since 2008.

I did that a lot with my first car, a 1968 Saab 96. Sasha is very beautiful and fun to drive but in the short time I've had her she has gone to the shop about once a month to to the tune of about 1k+ a piece. Still, I love her. She handles and accelerates like nothing I've ever driven before.

By that convention Sasha, my Porsche, should be "The Silver Ghost" . I haven't had it that long and I am still getting the bugs worked out..............at least that's what I keep telling myself. :ohwell:

They are great cars and you may be right. I had a BMW 528e then went to a Mercedes. I much preferred the BMW and went for a 528i next. Last summer I traded it in with over 200k miles on a Porsche 911. So far I'm loving the Porsche but we'll have to see what comes next.

1999 Porsche 911 Cabriolet for a daily driver and 1963 Sunbeam Alpine for occasional nice summer days.
