Hopefully they have cleaned up their act since salmonella, norovirus, and E. coli aren't all that healthy. That said I would still eat there if they had one here. Used to eat there all the time in Denver. Lots of calories doesn't make something unhealthy. I can easily make a 1200 calorie burrito into 600 or 300 if that is…

You aren't helping here!

If you make me relapse you are paying for my detox.

You just had to go there. Now my mouth is puckering up and I am having flashbacks to high school where I OD'd on those damn SPK. I can't get the taste out of my mouth now and I haven't even touched them in years.

I can't stand coffee so that is a non-starter for me and I tend to workout late in the evenings so I need a bit of a boost to keep me from wanting to go to sleep in the gym. I started on C4 which was like a beginner drink, tried the Muscle Pharm but didn't care for it, just no improvement over C4. I bought some GAT which…

Protein shake before bed helps me with the hunger and is a nice "dessert." I like casein because I seem to stay fuller feeling and don't wake up in the middle of the night wanting to eat something.

I can relate, right now. Worked out a bit later than usual, not much, but now I am wide awake at midnight. The pre-workout has nothing to do with it I am sure. I used to work out in the mornings and felt great and slept well. Change in job and schedule leaves me with evening only workouts some nights. I miss my mornings.

My go-to's have been Body Nutrition Trutein and PEScience Select proteins. Love the taste of them.

Quest cereal bars are a good option too.

Is there a reason that you can't do the same lifting in your gym?
-
Yes. The smith machine isn't really an option.

I admire a parent taking charge of her parental rights. Why should the parent back down instead of the teacher? Unless there is a rule about healthy snacks that has been approved through the school district's normal rulemaking process the teacher needs to back off and respect the parent's wishes. She also needs to leave…

Fixed barbell on blocks/plates > fixed barbell on the floor >> smith machine (coat rack)

Don't overthink the assistance work. Focus on the main lifts and leave the assistance work as assisting your weak areas.

Injustice isn't a good word to describe the problem I agree. I was talking about the "rules" that are not in place.
-
From the OP's later post: To define "healthy" is nearly impossible and is not the call of an individual teacher.
-
Read my post above, which rules are we talking about? I see no mention of specific rules regarding "healthy" snacks as the OP has posted.
-
From the OP's previous posts it seems that "healthy" is not actually part of the rules. I believe the restrictions were nuts and seafood (really? seafood? Or did they really mean shellfish and not know the difference).
-
Then let her stick to educating and leave the food choices to the parent.
-
Having a pop tart is a bad habit? How in the world do you know if this child eats unhealthy or not? A single pop tart does not define healthy eating.
-
One cherry, one s'mores and win/win? I trust the education system to teach healthy about as much as I trust them to teach math these days.

You obviously know nothing of old guys and the gym. They don't need towels, they have blow dryers.

Maybe she slipped out the back.

Like a job and bank account right?

It's getting a bit warm in here

Probably well past your bedtime.
