My "temple" does just fine regularly eating bacon, chicken, eggs, canned/frozen veggies and excluding things like spirulina, wheat grass, yacon root, goji berry, acai and flax.

If you ever plan on racing, you need to learn how to pace yourself without the help of a treadmill.
