Sorry, I don't have much sympathy for a situation you've chosen to be in.

In for massive walls of quoted text. It's my favorite.

Get out of my head!

First and foremost, develop a better relationship with food and how I view myself. I also want to continue building strength and endurance. I want to get to a point where I don't have to turn down any opportunity given to me because I'm not able, a level of fitness and ability where I don't have to be constantly training 6…

No, but she clearly does know how to use moderation and maintain her weight so maybe she's worth listening to? If you are eyeballing your food, then there is a lot of room for error in your logging. Chances are you are eating more than you think. It is impossible for you to not be losing at 1200 calories a day with your…

Probably could've cranked out a body weight circuit or a run in the time that it took you to document your day. I'm busy, you're busy, everybody and their brother is busy. You can't just "find" time, you have to "make" time.

I like this. A lot. Probably why we're friends.
-
Looks delicious!

Did you read the OP? She can't seem to stick to any priorities, whether they are fitness or weight loss related. Seems to be a general lack of discipline, not that she has different priorities.
-
If you're happy the way you are then why are you looking for a bunch of strangers on the internet to justify mediocrity for you?
-
You're doing it wrong. *Edited to fix quote.

Pretty sure this recipe would just make me really angry if I did eat it and then I'd still be left with a craving for REAL mac & cheese.
-
Never mind... not applicable post. Sorry!
-
Please explain how she would not be losing at 1200 calories but would be losing at 1600?
-
If you're not weighing, you're not logging.

This. It really doesn't take much time and it's fun to come up with different topping combinations on your own.

Rarely.

The more calorie dense an item is the more accurate you need to be with measuring how much you are eating. Things like butter, nut butter, cheeses, fattier cuts of meat should for sure be weighed as a small error in weight can lead to a substantial error in calories. You can get a food scale for pretty cheap these days, btw.
-
Also, if you're not weighing solids and measuring liquids and logging daily, then you aren't even remotely accurate in your tracking.

It's called intermittent fasting. I do it. A lot of people do. Meal frequency and timing are purely preferential. Just have to find an eating schedule that allows you to stay in a calorie deficit. Makes losing weight a whole lot easier. But, no, it's not the act of eating breakfast that is making you gain weight or not…

There's a lot of "private" affairs that happen on here that eventually get out through the grapevine, usually when one of the parties gets caught or finally fesses up to their SO. I've seen it happen when the person's SO was even on MFP and friends with the other parties involved. I think those kinds of people are going to…

Somehow I doubt that these relationships started through the means that the OP suggested, aka junk pics.

Oh, that's how dating sites are supposed to work? Here I've been sending true conversational messages to men and posting respectable photos that don't lead to public embarrassment. I didn't realize I was supposed to be sending nudes and dirty messages to strangers thousands of miles away. What a weird and oversexualized…

4 hours of lifting, 3 to 4 hours of running or walking, anywhere from 3 to 10 hours of hiking or snowboarding or other outdoor stuff depending on the season and some warm up/recovery time in there too.

You severely underestimate the dedication that it requires to become bulky as a female. The bulk may be water retention but I highly doubt there is actually any bulk. Start taking measurements and come back when you have proof that you're getting bulky.

Sometimes when you're an adult you have to do things that you don't necessarily enjoy but are beneficial to you. Suck it up, buttercup. Oh, and "water" isn't the only source of water. Find something else you like to drink and just make sure you track the calories in it if there are any.

He never states how long he will be able to successfully maintain 5%. Most bodybuilders will get close to that but that's only for competition, they don't stay at that for extended periods of time. Also, if it's not a hydrostatic test or a DEXA scan, it's probably a wildly inaccurate measurement of body fat.
-
That's plenty of cardio if it's something you don't enjoy and you don't have a goal to do any running, cycling, swimming events. Cardio isn't necessary to accomplish your goal, it can just make creating a deficit a little easier. Just to reiterate, unless you're using a food scale and weighing/measuring everything as much…

I don't know where you ladies are getting the idea that a sub-25% body fat percentage is considered skinny fat in the first place. Especially the last poster who is starting to get abs judging by her profile picture.
