Oh my numbers are great for me, I'm just curious what other people do :P I'm nosy! haha

You can do it. It's a long road, but one level at a time. Allons-y!

In HS I had the nickname "Tink" because of my short stature. The guy I had a crush on called me "Tink the tank." It killed me. My dad's *kitten* friend used to call me "Cantaloupe" because my "stomach was so big it looked like I swallowed a cantaloupe." My parent's nicknamed all of us when we were young. My baby sister was…

Nope, I haven't. But I hear you saying that they eat it every now and again, not every day. And I was being a bit hyperbolic in my statement. I meant it as a compliment and not putting down or diminishing the thought of ever eating fast food (or anything like that for that matter).

lol No, I get the point, but I'm gonna be manipulative and use it to show that you can get that definition and still get the calories from veggies too. I know, I'm horrible. I just hate the smell that McDs leaves in the car!! Every. Damn. Day.
-
Cheese and rice. You have amazing definition. I'm showing this to my boyfriend (who is a ridiculous fitness nut, but still eats McDonalds and can't understand why he is stronger but not defined).
-
No people are freaking out because you congratulated the girl who eats under 1200 calories and burns 75% of those and bragged about/ condoned doing the same thing.
-
I love this and you're giving me a new goal. I've always been afraid to eat too much (I blame society and... uh... cake). It's also nice to see people on the shorter side! Why is everyone here 10 feet tall?! lol

I've found I needed to ignore everything every website told me. Experiment at different levels for a week or so. I've found varying my eating works best. You have to give it some time though. At higher calories you may see an initial gain, but then your metabolism will learn how to use the calories better/faster. I ended…

If I'm in a tight spot and neeeeeed a power bar for the go, I get the Pure Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter bars. I've found they have a really nice balance and they're actually tasty. http://www.pureprotein.net/pages/products.aspx?sku=045887 Serving Size: 1 Bar (78g) Calories 310, Total Fat 10g Saturated Fat 4.5g, Trans…

I'm still in ketosis, have been able to maintain it for awhile, but I honestly never had that kind of sweat. I mean, I still sweat like a hooker in church, but not that flu-like. Poor thing :( That has to be so frustrating and scary!

Have you tried cake? It's delicious. Also, wine/vodka. But really, I was using food as a treat. I've finally learned food is fuel, not a treat.

I'm 5'2" if I stand up reeeeeally really tall. I'm after a ton more lbs. It's always hard to find people who are this short on here. Everyone seems to be 10 feet tall and it's hard to explain that when you're much larger and short, seeing changes from weight loss or inches seem less noticeable (and that tends to be sooooo…

I love love love this post. I could always use more nerdy and geeky friends. I'm 31, a Scifi nut (books, shows, movies, etc.), PhD (Criminology, Law & Society with my MA in Forensic Psych) student, statistics lover in DC. I can't live without Dr. Who or Batman or the deliciously crappy Scifi movies. My boyfriend is getting…

That's actually my goal. Could really use support and that stuff.

Out of curiosity, anyone go to the LA Fitness in Arlington or Pentagon Row?

I live in Crystal City, work at Belvoir M-F, & teach in Fairfax. I've been eating healthy and working out 6 days a week at the gym in my apartment. Definitely would love to have a buddy to go hiking and stuff on the weekends! I've got a ways to go, but I'm definitely not going back to a sedentary lifestyle.
-
I've been the same way. I kept toying with the idea, but never sticking to it. Hell, I *JUST* realized that half a chicken sausage on a big leaf of lettuce even tastes better than a hotdog in a bun. A few people have criticized my cheese and meat intake, saying I'm not getting enough of other things, but I feel great.
-
I think I love you.

The funny thing is, you would think, with how much salt I was eating, that my BP would be sky high and actually it's ridiculously normal. So is the cholesterol and pulse and everything... cept the fact I'm fat lol That's why I'm not too too worried about the salt, but I'd still like to watch it none the less. I've def…

Never even heard of them. Now I'm going on a hunt this weekend! Damn sodium!
-
Wow... just wow. Congrats!
-
lol not pepperoni... peppercini... banana peppers. The cheese is really nominal. Just a sprinkle. It's not even 1/8 cup. I'm afraid of getting rid of the wrap totally because I don't have many carbs elsewhere. The spinach ones are also decently high in iron and calcium and being anemic that helps. So frustrating.

I say you NEED "junk" every now and then. Treat yourself. Don't make a habit of it and don't go over, but damn it you deserve it!
-
Brush your teeth and shower and do silly things around the house. I hate the taste of anything after I brush my teeth especially.
-
I don't think anyone would appreciate my attitude that early. I tend to be a very very angry morning person. Congrats though! I'm totally jealous.
-
Wow... Even at 75 lbs I was not that rail thin.
-
That could be it! My lower back isn't 100% yet (close... like 85-90) and right before they lock I'm trying to straighten them out to readjust my posture or rest my calves. That actually makes sense... a lot of sense.
-
I'm utterly addicted. I go to the gym and do a 30 min weight loss program with 5 min cool down, then a 15-20 min glut program with a 5 min cool down, then a free whatever I want for 10... all with strength training between. Utterly utterly addicted.

I have a jammed hip from an accident two years ago that acts up so I was guessing it was mainly due to that. It just feels like I step wrong or lose balance or something. I guess I'll try and remember what it feels like tonight (if it happens this time).
