With an addiction like hers, it's not that she didn't care enough. She wasn't able to care. That is what DRUG addiction can do.

Well, over here in Alabama, it's only 88 right now. Factor in the humidity, which is actually pretty low for this time of year, 69%, it feels like 95. A few weeks ago, it was consistently in the mid to high 90's with high humidity...I'll take this heat ANYDAY over the cold, wet, windy winter we just had.

I have p90x and I've been looking at the box for a good couple of months! I'm terrified of them, LOL! I MIGHT start it on Aug. 1st...we'll see..

Good luck with this!

It really depends of my mood and where I'm running. If I'm running on the road, never. On a trail or path, sometimes. It just really depends of my mood. In January, I started back running after a 13 year hiatus. Back then, I "formally" started running around 25 and never listened to music while I ran. I rarely run on a…

TOTALLY off subject, but a huge THANK YOU for your service!

Meeee too! I've had to forever and I use it all the time!
-
thank you, ladies, for your responses! I haven't decided if I should go for it, or just bake 'em.

I agree 100%! I'll binge like crazy if I "cut" something out of my diet in the name of "clean". I love the idea of it, it just doesn't always work for me. AND life is too damn short to deprive yourself of the little things that might make you smile.

Gotcha! I haven't had all my coffee yet this morning and truly didn't even think about altered diets and such. Good luck on your journey!

Are you diabetic? As a nurse, I use them with patients when their blood sugar is high (usually ^300). It's to see if there is any ketones spilled in the urine as a result from the high blood sugar...I don't know why you would use them if you weren't diabetic..Anyway, there is a color code on the side of the bottle to…

SNAP! I did not dance! Ah, well, I'll be ok..

30 minute brisk walk (2 miles), push ups 3 sets of 10 (modified), lunges 3 sets of 10 each leg ( I did this and then realized she said 15 each leg!), leg extensions 3 sets of 10 (hard as hell), and I added 3 sets of 10 crunches. Drank water like crazy, 112 ounces! Poke me, I'm done!

Ok, I LOVE the idea of clean eating...like, I'll eat baked chicken in lieu of processed sandwich meat, but I'm going to eat a 3 Musketeers if the urge is great. I'm learning and trying, and that's good enough for me. I'm from the school of living life, so I don't get TOO serious, or overboard with the "clean" thing.

LMAO

I started running in January. Since then I've only lost 8 lbs but I've lost 19.5 inches overall...so I'm ok with the slow moving scale. Good luck with your journey!
-
It's not happened to me (yet!) but my dad lost 60 pounds 3 years ago and has kept it off. Since he is a senior citizen, he's 73, he got it all the time by his friends. It made him so mad! His response was, "Where was your concern when I was fat?" That usually shut them up.

Great job! Kudos to you for sharing!!

I've had issues where my sports bra band interferred with the strap/receptor thingy. I just try to make sure they are not overlapping and so far, so good. I have the FT4 also.
