based on your past exprience with losing the weight, at least you know that you can do it! that in itself should be inspiring for you! don't get down on yourself..write down whatever sad, angry, depressed feelings you are having on a piece of paper....look it over a few times, then toss it in the trash! say goodbye - it's…

protein shakes and smoothies (not the ice cream based kind...unless you want to gain a ton of weight while on your "pureed" diet)....also things like applesauce with some low fat peanut butter would be a good snack.....cooled oatmeal with some protein powder mixed in (or some cooled off egg beaters)...jus think of soft…

has anybody on here used the BodyBugg or know anybody who has one? what's your experience been with it?...a trainer at the gym suggested buying one of these, but i'd like to hear from anybody who has used it before making such a big purchase.

i also push a 30 something pound child AND the weight of the jogger (that's at least another 10 pounds!) and the only thing i could find on here under the exercise tab is "walking with an infant or 15 pound load"...so for now that is the one i use....or get a heart rate monitor and you will know for sure the amount of…

your willpower is absolutely inspiring! next weekend is the start of "birthday party season" and i have been thinking about how i will manage to behave (i don't have the willpower you do - i could easily woof down 3 pieces of pizza and big chunks of cake....and that would be round one!!!! )...i will keep you in mind…

just wondering if any of you know if there is a connection between drinking coffee and cellulite...i have been eating really healthy for the past 2 years (90% of the time with the occasional cheat day), working out (walking, cardio classes, strength classes) and i STILL have gross lumpy-bumpies on the back of my…

like jpketz said - fruits are simple carbs and often loaded with sugar...limit your fruit servings to twice pr day and try to chose fruits with a low glycemic index (think berries!)...also - to get more satisfaction and keep your insulin levels from peaking and dropping, eat your fruit with a protein (like almonds!)

i was confused too, but i read the article "living with obesity at 700 calories per day" (found it on the message board here) and it is all making sense...i have spent years working out, under-eating and practically starving myself thinking that's how a person loses weight...it obviously never worked or i wouldn't be on…

i did WW and followed the Core program (no real counting - only the flex points are counted in)...i loved it and it helped me lose about 40 pounds (i also walked 3-5 miles everyday during the process)...i went from a sz 16 to a 4!!!...i reached my goal weight and don't have time to attend my monthly meetings but i still…

i have this same question too! i wear a HRM while i workout so that i know how many calories i have actually burned and on some of my longer days, i burn up to 1000 calories....i wasn't sure if i had to use up these "credits" or if i could not use them up and speed up the losing process....seems very weird to workout for…
