This is my third time on MFP in the last 18ish months, so I have also started over plenty. And I also only have about 20 pounds to lose. Anyone feel free to add me!

I've only been to Ontario, but is there a No Frills, or other discount grocery store near you? The prices you're currently paying for produce are ridiculous! Definitely shop around for the best deals. And it sucks that it's already cold and you don't have any space. I know there are exercises designed for sedentary office…

I'm 26, done with school, have a full-time job, and I have a relatively stress free life right now, which is why there's no excuse for my bad habits. Great idea getting 20-somethings together. Everyone feel free to add me. My diary is open, and I love looking at other people's diaries.

Actually, you should be eating MORE. 1100 is too little to net, you should never net below 1200. If you exercise, it means you have to eat more. What has MFP set as your calorie goal? Eat that. If you exercise and burn calories you need to then eat even more to reach your calorie goal again for the day.

MFP is all about NET calories. MFP gives you a "budget" of calories you need to eat every day. Eating food "spends" the calories, and exercising burns calories, so when you exercise it adds calories back to your budget. You should eat back your exercise calories, that way you will stay in the range of your net calorie goal…

Does exercising on an empty stomach make you feel weak or crappy? If so, then you should probably have a little something beforehand, like a banana. But if you feel fine during your bike ride, then it doesn't really matter when you eat. If you were doing some serious cardio or weight training, it would probably be…

Hitting the snooze button for 30+ minutes every day is probably my worst habit. It would make such a difference if I could stop that.

I don't have 100 lbs to lose, but I would love more friends in their 20s.

I would suggest eating 2000 a day for a few weeks. If, in 2 to 3 weeks, you are not losing what you want, try dropping your calorie goal. I just know that my pattern is that I restrict my calories by too much, am super inspired the first week, but then after that eating such a low amount becomes a struggle…

Things like Xtra Cheddar Goldfish and sour cream and onion Pringles, or white cheddar popcorn. I have decided to cut those out because I can't eat them in moderation. I also love love Buffalo wings, and fries dipped in chipotle mayo from my work's cafe. I can eat those things in moderation, so they may make an occasional…

I probably would, because a lot of that flavor from the soup mix is what has the calories, and that's what you want to stick to your carrots. Or if I was feeling indulgent I would count half the calories from the soup.

Keep in mind that if you are using MFP to calculate your calories burned during exercise, they usually over estimate. I would only eat back half my exercise calories. If the amount that you're eating now is working for you, great. But you've just started and it's probably too soon to really establish a trend for how you…

Net calories = food calories - exercise calories If you plan on entering your exercise into MFP, then don't consider your exercise when choosing your activity level. So when you burn 200 calories, you do need to eat and extra 200 calories to make sure you are still meeting your net calorie goal. Keep in mind, MFP usually…

I'm kind of a teacher. I'm an educator at a museum. And I added you!
