  • Spirits are usually better. Vodka and diet (insert pop/soda of choice) is pretty good.
  • Only did a short walk today instead. Gutted. Wanted to do a longer walk but I got to the bottom of the hill and couldn't face it today. Still poorly and didn't sleep well last night
  • I can't wait to get one! Waiting until I'msmaller though, don't want it ruined by weight change. Happy to have it ruined by pregnancy though. I want an octopus holding the" a perfect circle "symbol on my hip. But people have warned the tentacles may change as my bump/s grow. I'm not bothered though, I jsut want it…
  • I need to do 2.5 miles every day to make it up to 100 from now. But I will have 3 days a week where I definitely do more than that, so I should be able to do it
  • I was just saying last night how much easier it would be if we had a dog to walk!! I bet I'd be losing weight easier to say the least! Although I start back at uni next week and I'm going to walk up not get the bus which should add about 2 miles a day, plus the pub walks I'm starting to do!! EDIT. Just looked it up. If I…
  • 1. I have been at my goal weight, many years ago. I was fat before and lost weight to my goal rather than having been there naturally. But the pic in my sig is me at my goal. 2.Never lost that much weight, but I'm not single and I don't have kids. 3.When I lost weight before I didn't exercise. I don't do much now and…
  • My boyfriend and I are oppsite personality types on all of them! How weird is that! I'm an extravert though, 70% extravert and he's 95% introvert.
  • My non biased and biased are practically the same. Non Biased. Smoking kills, not just the person smoking, but those around them too. It does cause traffic accidents etc. And it increases the risk of SIDS. Therefore should be more heavily regulated if not banned. Now for my biased, IMO smoking around children is child…
  • Aww darn I missed it by a day... I'm still going to tag along though if that's ok!!? Halloween is my birthday, so I would love to be that little bit slimmer by then!
  • Because I stopped trying/it became too hard to fit in with my lifestyle. Doing 10 hours shifts, with an hour each way travelling, and trying to prganise moving house... It doesn't work too well. I'd already stopped losing by that point, but then I gained, about half a stone! So I'm on it again now, but I'll probably get…
  • It was a couple of things really. I eat relatively healthy when I'm working, and I was looking at a co worker, thinking, it's no suprise you're big if you eat like that (white bread cheese sandwiches, chocolate bar and mini cheddars), then realising, actually, somehow, she's lost loads of weight. Her uniform was now HUGE…
  • I did leave for a while and I'm now a few pounds heavier... Although there are other factors involved, I think that answers your question :P
  • Healthy BMI is 18.5 to 24.9 no matter what your height, as it is calculated using your height and weight therefore personal to you not general. Someone with a BMI of 22 at 6 foot would be a different weight and height to someone with a BMI of 22 at 5 foot, even though the BMI is the same.
  • 1. Sugar/fat free jelly 2. Tropical juice (I looked at the calories expecting to die inside a little, and it's really low calorie.... think it's watered down!) 3. Cucumber 4. Bell peppers 5. Melba toast with low fat cream cheese 6. Chicken breast with spices. I can have almost twice as much fresh stuff as I can if I buy…
  • Maybe they carry it in different places? I have a huge stomach and carry most of my weight there, but soma may carry it all in their boobs, have massive arms, or even just carry it higher up they're stomach. You may have your fat evenly distributed but others have smaller arms and legs but a bigger stomach/waist?
  • Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone for a while, had some laptop problems! I gave up on the giving up the scale, but I've not been on as much as I used to. I got on today and the day before yesterday, but before that it was a few days. This is a massive improvement for me as I was up to 3 times daily before. Hope you're all…
  • I suck... I've been on a few times.. But not everyday which is a big deal for me! Especially as I forgot to take them out of the bathroom! I need the scales to keep me on track. I can tell by how my eating attitude changes when it's there. My main goal is to stay off as much as possible but I don't think it's right for me…
  • Not been keeping track of my walking but I've still been doing so much more than usual. Walked to the train station instead of getting the bus, walked from the station to the house, then the house to asda and back, then back to the station AGAIN!! Not had chance to do any "real" exercise all week. Not done any dvds or any…
  • I know you're not in the UK, but over here, there are statistics that show that low risk women who have a home birth have better outcomes than the same risk status women who have them in hospital. Not by much to be fair but there is obviously less epidurals, which leads to less c section, ventouse and forcep and constant…
  • A birth pool is a great idea. Even if you have a largish bath tub. Baths aren't necessarily deep enough. A birthing pool is deep enough for position changes and all sorts. Remember you are seriously limiting your pain relief options, so maybe look into hypnobirthing? or other relaxation techniques. Have plenty of tea/coffe…
  • Being off the scale quite simply does not suit me :frown: I'm disappointed in myself.. I sinned! I was having a fat day and I couldn't bear it any longer. I got on and made my boyfriend look on the promise he wouldn't tell me, only tell me if it was the same, lower or higher. Then I caved in and forced him to tell me. I…
  • Yeah keep on trying  I was pretty bad yesterday.. Not quite as bad as my quick add calories make out, but bad enough. I waaaay over estimates just in case lol I feel fatter today :frown: I want to get on my scales so badly as I think I'm the same or more even though I should be less..
  • Still no scale. Been a little bad today but not gone over my calories massively.
  • I posted the review here. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/197727-the-biggest-loser-ultimate-workout-for-xbox-360-and-kinect-r As some people might not have seen it if I posted it in this topic.
  • I'm writing it now  Yeah, I only did about 30 minutes and I feel rather similar to after 30DS!!
  • 19/01/11 - 2miles 20/03/11 - 3 miles outdoors 21/3/11 - 1 unexpected mile across campus and the hospital!
  • 19/03/11 - 2miles 20/03/11 - 3 miles outdoors. I'm aiming to walk indoors on days I don't get an opportunity to walk outside. Today I walked into town and back plus round town itself. I used to get the bus there and back or a taxi. So it's a big step for me!
  • I just bought the Biggest Loser one today! I'm just about to try it out
