  • I mostly get, "I don't need a gym, or exercise." A couple are thin without it, the rest...well, they could use some *kitten*-moving.
  • My bf doesn't say anything negative, either, but you know they're just being nice. Mine is thin, works at it, so im highly doubting that he finds my 40+ lbs hot.
  • I have friends who swear that they only eat healthy foods, but are still 20+ lbs overweight. You can be overweight and only eat healthy stuff.
  • Wellbutrin does the same, but i found it wore off after three months...now it's beginning again. I dont see this as a negative, just make an eating schedule.
  • Eating breakfast, skipping breakfast= same results for me. It doesn't fill me up when i do eat it, and i overindulge later on either way.
  • Until the morning arrives when you've thrown all your blankets off, your massive (seriously, i have an overlapping gut) belly is hanging out, literally, and you're embarrassed when you realize that your bf has seen it.
  • 1. I have 3 kids, I'm too tired. 2. I have too much work to catch up on. 3. I feel sick (which is really just the result of not working out) 4. These stretched-out yoga pants will do me a bit more (it's been 4 years) 5. I like food. I really like this chocolate. And this mac and cheese. I don't want to cook. 6. If I just…
  • they're too expensive where I live, but I'm not exactly a health but, and they aided weight loss.
  • My body is a strange device. When i eat healthy, i lose extremely slowly, like a pound a month (might be fine for some, but i'd like to be thin before my 50th birthday)...when i eat what i want, but keep it under calories, i lose much faster. The drawback IS, stopping yourself once you've had a bit.
  • my first two weeks-nothing. Then, two pounds. Not much now, because i go overboard on my once a week drink nights.

  • Yes. Definitely. It happens to mine.
  • I love my scale, 6 months after not picturing myself using one. However, I have a really cool digital one and I find it fun to weigh stuff.
  • The i want to be shaped like you! But, as for your first post...i weighed in today, and the gym scale didn't move a mm. I nearly burst into tears, i was convinced i'd lost something. I get home, hop on my own (i thought malfunctioning before) scales- both read a 4lb loss.
  • I want to shop at the stores the OP is getting her clothes at, because i am almost the same size, and the lowest i fit into is size 16 :-S (it's a manufacturing thing)
  • today is my cheat day. I'm having a coldcut combo from subway, some chocolate, and some alcohol later on. I've also eaten during the day, all healthy stuff, but since I'm over my calorie limit and haven't touched exercise, I consider it all to be cheating.
  • i would like to add in that as i lost weight, i went from 800 calories a day to 1200, to 1500. I would add 100 cals for every 10 lbs lost. Worked for me, but i had 65lbs to lose.
  • Every time I did a VLCD, i lost weight, and kept it off. The only reason i gained back 43lbs was because I refused to endanger my fetus while pregnant, and after i gave birth, i kept the same crappy eating habits. Today is the first day of my new VLCD. God. It's like im quitting drugs!
  • I enter pace and calories burned.
  • Good! I was feeling silly for patting myself on the back for not digging into the cheeseball past 4 crackers, but it's those small victories...

  • It takes some time, but my food scale has been a great purchase. For $25, I can know exactly how much I am eating, and it eliminates "is my body scale broken? I hope so" woes. 'Course, it also eliminates "oh, that massive plate of fried chicken is only a serving!"
  • Dvd's lost me me first 20lbs! The key is to actually DO them, not just buy them and have them sitting on your shelf! Good luck :-D
  • I have a big, massive problem with the term, "it isn't MY problem, it's yours." It's a rude, ignorant, and dismissive term. My hubs knows better than to say it around me. Yep, it's up to you to control your food issues, but it's his job to support you. What's he going to say to you during other life issues? Even if he…
  • So, because of all the ladies who posted their results, ive started with a 3 mile track laps and the rest lifting. No, i dont expect to get bulky lol but a hot bod would be nice!
  • I lose 5-7lbs when i do a week of 1200cals. Then, that damn trigger rears up, and i go over. It's awesome if you can stay at your desired caloric level...not so much when you can't. To those who say it's not healthy-it is. A lot healthier than shoveling fries into your mouth while saying, "But i NEED these extra calories!…
  • I think the wording of the original post was brilliant. Guaranteed to set off the ones who don't read it through and focus on the, "won't let me". I'm someone who has a serious problem with anyone "being allowed" to do something past the age of 18. However, I gave my hubs the go-ahead to give me grief when i overeat. He…
  • if you look like a man to some people, i'd hate to think what i appear as to some. You don't look like a male, nor are you "the largest thing ever". What asshats.
  • It's the excessive apples. Sure, they're healthy, but packed with natural sugar-your trainer is right. Lay off the fruit basket. Plus, it could very well BE muscle. I always gain 2-5lbs when i start a diet, but my clothing fits better.
  • I'm going on an adding spree
  • 3 kids, including a toddler here, and just losing the weight now. I need friends in the same boat
  • I lost 5lbs last week (first week of the diet, i always lose at least that), then i went for drinks and food at the man's. I had like 8 vodkas (im a pig on booze if it's tasty), Subway, and a full aero duo bar...i was up 3lbs the next day in bloat alone. It's taken me until today to lose that again, plus another pound...
