I didn't buy a scale for almost a month and it slowly started making me crazy. I finally got one but I will only step on it once a week. Always first thing in the morning and after I go to the bathroom (I drink a lot of water). Then I do it 3 times just to make sure that it is accurate.

Hi and welcome. Add me we all could use support and motivation.

Hi. Don't feel so alone. No one here is. I also need to loose 100lbs so you can join my club. I have been doing this about a month and have seen fantastic results. I am on a 1280 calorie a day. Drink lots of water and plan out your day and find some good recipes. I will say you will never put anything in your mouth that…

Hi and welcome. I am sure that you will like it here. Everyone is friendly and extremely supportive. Add me if you want.

Add me if you like. Support and encouragement truly helps me. I am having great success and I hope you do as well.

Welcome! I will say if you track everyday you will see results. I have only been doing this for a month and feel better and I am seeing results. If you need advice or just some motivation than MFP is the place to be. If you need support I will be happy to help and I am sure. Others will too.

Girl I know the feeling. I have edema and even taking a dieretic I can move ten pounds. Are you weighing yourself in the morning? I usually get up, go to the bathroom and right after that I weigh myself before I start to swell. Pain in the butt but remember it isn't fat. Plus muscle weighs more than fat if you're working…

Its early on for me so I just down about 16 oz of water and tell myself I am full. If I have at least 25 calories left then I go for jello and cool whip. My favoritr if I have closer to 100 left I indulge in fat free pudding. But you have to do it right. Take it out of the little container. Crush up a lowfat graham cracker…

I also have over 100lbs to loose. We can motivate each other!

I agree forgive and move on. I almost did the same thing the other day. My fiancée brought out a jar of mixed nuts. I took a handful and had to log those. They were darn good though. I read the label and told him to eat the rest in the kitchen.lol. now they sit rfighton top of my fridge beconing me every morning.

I am in too. I was just at my mother's house and then she invited all my siblings and anyone else she could factor in. Out came the cakes and pies.. you know the deal. This time I beat her to it though and made a low cal baked apple which is what I ate so they couldn't say anything. Lol. Also I usually put my food on a…

I also use 4oz containers. I go to Main Source I don't if they are everywhere. They are like a rest supply store open to the public. I get 100 with lids for about $12. Having the jello in them prevent it from getting the hard top (gross) and prolongs the life of the jello so I don't have to eat it everyday. Anyone else…

I also think that when I have too many carbs early that I find myself more hungry than if I hadn't eaten at all. I try to concentrated on protien. Eggbeaters and loaded with veggies and I put it all on a slice of wheat bread that has only 45 calories. It looks like a lot of food with minimal calories. That is what I do.

These are the reasons I love keruig. I love it and probably have more than a few flavors. Oh, and its instant gratification. Put the ice in the glass and hit brew. Love it!

You could just be having a reaction to your food. I know if I have too many carbs that I can bloat and show a ten pound difference. Plus if your working out muscle weighs more than fat. You could just be gaining muscle weight. Or a combination of both.

I too have stood at that fork many times. While I have just started logging in my food over the last month I have spent countless days kidding myself and just as many being misrable because I wasn't doing anything to change it. I know that what has helped me is friends. I am competitive in nature and now it is not just me…

Absolutely. I gained over 80lbs in the last 8 months due to a chronic illness and emotional eating. I use clothes as a motivation tool. In fact I have a blouse that I bought when I was smaller and it is hanging on the outide of my closet door. Of course it is only motivating while I am doing something about my weight. :)

I have had a ten pound difference in a day. I stupidly weighed myself in the late afternoon and was not happy then I weighed myself in the mornig and guess what the scale was down 10lbs. Water and food not passed can make a big difference.

31 days. It helps to have friends. It keeps me honest and makes me log in so that I can be supportive of them.

I was a manager for Wawa. Imagine being stuck there all day. The only good thing was that I never got a lunch break. The bad part was that I had a 45 min commute. It is truly amazing what you can manage to eat while driving :)

I think I just want the cinnamon roll. Seriously it is just one day. Might help if you bring in your own snack though. Worked for me some of the time. Lol.

I can totally relate. Yes it does come back to back. Everyone I know hears me yell "Really" over and over again when things start to pile up. People say that it will get better but I think that all I get is a break (never more than a week) and it starts all over again. The thing is the new thing takes up my time and I…

Absolutely what I would have said. Lol. Seriously that is all she could come up with. That is so like "15"

I am also in my forties and I also need to loose 100 lbs. So if you want the support you have it. It is awful when you feel bad about the way you look. I avoid mirrors at all cost. Lol. I just want to look better and get my energy back. Bet you do too. Send me a friend request.

I also have a tendency to be a little obsessive and I seem to always be under the recommended calorie intake for the day. I started to see a nutritionist and that helps me keep perspective. Also since I have to cook for someone else I downloaded a ton of recipes that were low cal but something we all could eat. Stay around…

I know the feeling as I have a tendency to do the same and it becomes a vicious cycle. All I can say is to think about the precious times that you had with your grandmother and how it would sadden her to know that she is the cause of your anxiety/depression. I am sure that your happiness meant everything to her. As for…
