You basically use a menstrual cup like a tampon, and there's specific instructions in the box. I don't have an IUD, but if you can't use tampons with an IUD, you probably can't use a menstrual cup.

I posted this thread to prove a point, not looking for sympathy. And I know there's a point where people need to be told to suck it up, but unless you know what's going on with them, it's not kind, and doesn't help. That's why.

Yup, so if you don't know them, how do you know which they want/need? You should get to know them before telling them to stop whining, or if they want cheese.

I've been told it's good to eat a light snack before you work out (to have something to burn), and then eat a meal after you work out (to replenish what you lost). I can't eat before I work out, because like the others said, I'll get sick.

I like pretty much all of them, but you should be aware that the tastier ones have a lot of fat. Ha. But really, check the label. I eat Dannon Oikos regularly. It has 0 fat and good protein. You can get it plain, with honey, or fruit on the bottom.

Find one who does it on their own, not at a gym (unless maybe it's a mom and pop kind of place). Unless you find a diamond in the rough, like I did for 6 months, they usually suck. The gym doesn't pay them enough and they always have something better to do like check their cell phone or look at the hotties walking around.…

Thanks all! I didn't go with the chocolate shake, but who doesn't crave one every once in a while, right?? I haven't much luck with a lot of these like the hot tea and honey. But I will continue drinking lots of liquids and forge ahead!
