"Body fat "curves" are genetic. Look at your mom and that's the shape you'll usually end with at her age. " Man...that's probably the most depressing thing I've ever read on this forum. LOL! Genetics aren't everything!

To reduce heel strike, try shortening your stride. You may need to really think about it at first, but I think you'll find you will be more efficient and easier on your joints with a shorter stride.

Try adding some dried apricots as a daily snack, or in oatmeal. They are so effective, we call them "craperkots" in my house :).

Another vote for nuts here- especially raw almonds and walnuts. Great in salads or for a quick snack. I love avacado, and you can always cook your chicken in a little olive oil. That will add some healthy fat and calories wthout filling you up much.

I'm set at 45c/25f/30p. I need those extra carbs for running. no chance without them. And I'm not trying to lose weight either. Guessing from the MFP default, I think "normal" carb percentage might be closer to 55%.
