It's best to stay within your range, but to go up beyond on occasion is OK. I wouldn't hold it though. I'd slow a bit to let your rate drop about 10-15 below and pick up the pace again. You'll get to where you stay in range eventually! Good luck!

You are probably fine for now...losing 1 pound a week is great! You do need to start trying to eat your exercise calories! I know what you mean...that's a lot of healthy food!
