I hate ab workouts. The good thing about compound lifts is you don't have to do horrible crunches and sit-ups to work your abs.

I used to do the partial shave thing when I was a teenager.... I finally grew it back out when I was about 20 because it looked trashy.

Photos are also lies due to light refraction index which makes me look fatter then I actually am.

I'm not a coach, I have tried it. The chocolate tastes okay when mixed with any kind of shake, it's gross with water only. The green berry one was pretty nasty even when mixed with frozen fruit in a shake. I personally think it's way too expensive for what it is. I'd rather make my own whey protein shake or eat a real meal…

I agree, try a mixed grip and see if that helps. Also, your arms and hands should not be moving at all while you are lifting, they should just be holding the weight. If that doesn't help maybe you can try straps.

First May workout! Squats - 80lbs +5 next time, yay! Bench - 65, failed on rep 3 of set 5 with no spotter!! Did the roll of shame, opps :blushing: Pendlay rows - rocked em @ 75lbs, +5 next time, woot! I can't wait to start using 25lb plates for the rows, I hate stacking the weights under the bar. I feel like I make a scene…

I'm ending April like this after starting on 04/11, nothing too impressive but I'm hoping to make a lot of progress in May. Squat: 75 Bench: 60 Rows: 70 OHP: 50 DL: 115 (switched to sumo stance to take pressure off my lower back)

When it says 45 it means just the bar (assuming it's oly bar). I'm not sure about your squats question. Is there a reason why you want to use dumbbells instead of a barbell?
