  • I have done a couple rounds of Insanity, the calorie burns even for the longest and most intense MAX workout was only about 500-600 calories, or about 10 calories per minute. Every body is different but you should still be around that amount. Make sure your HRM is calibrated and set up right, and you stop it once you get…
  • Once or twice a month. I used to weigh in daily but it just lead to constant disappointment.
  • I'm about to start Pharmacy school in August. When I'm done, I'll have my Pharm.D which is basically the equivalent of a Ph.D.

  • That's pretty much a win in my book. Sometimes it's not always about the number on the scale. Keep eating at a deficit, be patient and you will see the results in both the scale and the mirror.

  • Core work? Pfft! The stationary bike is where it's at!
  • LOL, do whatever you enjoy more! Rock's advice is pretty rock solid though (I made a pun, har-de-har). Besides, once winter rolls around you probably won't be able to bike as much and then you can focus on strength again.
  • Is the lack of progress what is making you dread lifting, or is it the lack of variety?

  • Lizzy_Sunflower and I still love her :flowerforyou:
  • I would suggest Ultima Online, it had a great resource gathering mechanic, too bad no one plays it anymore. Maybe, Minecraft, it seems to be pretty popular.
  • Comes off my stomach first. My butt last. I guess I should consider myself lucky. If I tried a little harder I could probably visible abs and still have plenty of fat to lose on my hips, thighs and butt. But... meh, that's a lot work.
  • It works, but you will only lose an extra 3-5lbs per year by following their prescribed diet which basically eliminates the "treatment effects". With the cost of the pills, lets say, about 60$ for a 90 supply, that's about $240 for a predicated 3-5lbs of "extra" weight loss. I don't know about you but $240 for 3lbs of…
  • Alrighty folks, here is an update since this thread is somehow still alive. Thanks to some feedback on here I finally found a way to make this stuff not suck. The trick is hiding the icky tart taste with Jello, preferably the sugar free variety, even though the sugar full kind tastes way better (way more calories too). So…
  • I prefer to use the crickets as the chocolate chips! It's a really great swap, you take out sugar/fat and add protein! Yummy and nutritious!
  • Fit bitt does not use the same technology. It doesn't monitor your bodies physiological response (temperature, galvanic skin response, heat flux etc.) only steps and other movement; therefore it is less accurate. More ways to monitor your body = increased accuracy. The bodybugg and bodymedia devices may be inconvenient due…
  • I sometimes watch it during a workout by streaming Netflix on my Nook while on my elliptical.
  • I always ate mine back while losing. I netted around 1300 calories per day but actually ate about 1800. I did high intensity cardio 6x a week during that time. Now that I'm maintaining I still eat around 1800 per day but I don't do much cardio anymore, just weight lifting 3x a week.
  • Wow, June got here quick! I'm still dealing with my lower back pain so I've been modifying the program a bit. Squats are what irritate it so I'm taking a break from barbell squats and trying goblets and box squats to perfect my form. I've also been adding some accessory lifts on days when I have the time. Mostly Lat Pull…
  • tru dat, gud luck finding sum male friends.
  • Are you doing the Meth diet too? I've lost soo much weight by switching from food to meth! It's great. We should totally support each other :flowerforyou:
  • I'm 5'9 and happy at 145lbs, of course that usually shifts between 145 and 150 depending on the day and what had for dinner last night. My original goal was 140 but I've found that getting that low and maintaining it is too difficult.
  • I'd eat it. Just sayin'.
  • I always eat my Wheaties before going into bear territory, just in case.
  • Without even reading the whole thread or anything about the product, I can say with 92.5% accuracy that it is overpriced plant leaves that provide, little, if any, benefit to the human body.
  • Wow, I can't believe May is over already. Here is the progress I made this month. Squats Started: 95lbs Ended: 105lbs **Did quite a few delaods and breaks from these due to back issues :( OHP Started: 50lbs Ended: 55lbs **Nothing to brag about but still progress. Deadlifts Started: 125 Ended: 145 **W00T!!!!!! Bench:…
  • I hate you so much right now.
  • Good luck to you, seriously. I have no advice to offer except to ignore all the haters, I think there is nothing wrong with making the girls look good.

  • Typical calorie burn for cardio is 5-10 calories per minute. That would be 600 calories in one hour at the high end of that scale.
