oh yeah! pre-logging lets you know if you can eat more or less without going over your macros by accident. Cannot trust your eyes to judge what is the true amount.

wow about 80% of what i used to eat coz it was making me fat. im now trying to not use butter because i'd rather use the calories in something more filling. i chose to stop the fat food which is so delicious but that was too many calories, so i make my own food 90% of the time.

Thanks & am doing that! funny how i eat within my macros and then expect to see a loss on the scale and then oh no! it has gone up! but im going to continue to eat low cal and low sodium if possible. im guessing if i try for 1,000 mg a day that might be a good amount.

the only thing with eating whatever you want - when i eat 2 eggs in the morning, it fills me up more till lunchtime. when i eat a bowl of cold cereal with milk, i get hungry mid morning. so with some foods, i tend to be hungrier sooner, which will make me eat more, and then it will not be as good for me on my diet.

How about this - "I am going to have a cheat meal" should really say "I am going to go over my macros today" that way it wont make you want to give up or cause yourself too much stress when you choose to treat yourself.

i stumble on a what you would call a cheat meal by accident. I realize i ate more than i planned.. so i say heck with it, i overate a little, looks like i enjoyed more food today than i planned. And i dont worry about it, i just go on the next day trying again.
