Your lungs should not be "on fire". In fact, you should be able to talk. Slow down, if it's so bad. My first run intervals were barely faster than my walk ones.

Way to go! :) I was planning to run tonight, but git too tired. Did and abs class in the morning, cleaned the house, and did an hour and a half of gardening... Running is postponed till tomorrow! :)

Welcome! I finished c25k few weeks ago and train for a 10k now. It looks like a lot of people are doing bridge to 10k from ZenLab here. I have a 10 week plan based on one of the Hal Higdon plans.
