  • I mean I've been to my doctor and addressed this before but all he said was they would shrink and go away when I lose the weight I needed. He never checked if it was something with breast tissue or anything like that. He simply recommended sticking to losing weight and they would go away eventually.
  • Thank you all for taking the time to reply back to me. I appreciate the resources and links some of you provided and the stories and motivation others have shared here. Well for those that asked about the doctor my yearly checkup is in literally 2 days so I will see what he says then. It feels bad because if the doctor is…
  • Well when I work out I want to work out because I want to be healthy. There was a point when I went to my Dr. and he stated that I was overweight for a person my age and that a diet would be recommended. Diabetes runs in my family as does cancer so I always have to watch out as I am pre diabetic but the thing is when I…
  • I lived at home. I remember being 15 and weighing 140 lbs and that was good enough for me. But then my mom started getting strict on the house rules and so was my dad and there was just so much stress and family problems going on at home that I got really stressed out and started eating more and more and it was terrible.…
  • Hi everyone I should probably update this. Thank you all for the responses I appreciate it. As some of you have stated I think this could be a nutrition issue. I do not eat at all before my workouts I try not to eat until the workout is done but I guess maybe perhaps I should be eating at least a small meal before I work…
  • The pain I get is usually right after a workout. Usually during my workouts my legs tire out fast and my arms are very sore as well but the bulk of the pain is after my workout when I sit down to relax for a bit is when you start to feel the pain. I am also with the previous poster on what is doms? Thanks again
  • Everyday I start with my half hour of jump rope. I set the ipod on timer and get to it. But what changes is what I do everyday so one day I will pick a workout from the biggest loser set I have (they are about 40 minutes each) and I just do one or I may just do running for half hour to 40 minutes if it is not too cold…
  • Thank you for the kind responses everyone. What I will say is this. I work out 6 days a week taking Sunday as my off day but will most likely have to take a break in between by working out every other day instead of everyday for 6 days a week. My workouts are like this- one day I lift weights for my workout then the next…
  • I didn't think about this before. I never eat before a workout. Usually I have breakfast in the morning but it depends since I am working out at different times during the day. I guess for those of you who suggested to eat after my workout well Im just worried because I don't want to over do it and end up gaining back all…
  • Thank you for the kind response. I will say that food is my weakness. I have had to give up a lot of foods that I do not wish I had to give up. I gave up my cheesecake and my icecream although lately I have been trying to eat the foods I like just in moderation and even in then it is hard when you would rather have the…
  • Lol good one and I agree here it can be dangerous to find a place to jog since so many cars around here act like they own the road some people even have the nerve to honk at me while I am jogging hey its not my fault not all sidewalks are as cleaned up as they should be but I always use precaution and keep myself well…
  • Thank you all for the kind responses and to those of you saying the weather is too cold yes it was freezing. I would love to go to Florida where my parents and sister live. They have 80 degree weather all year long minus in the summer the killer heat for summertime sometimes gets above 100 degrees at times. It is just that…
  • That's actually a win win for me. Never really considered mixing the 2 but now this sounds like a satisfying way to get both my veggies and the pizza I love. Thanks for sharing this :)
  • I'm working on that. I love cooking it's just time is not my best friend here. I am always on the go. From work to school I am just all over the place and some days I just do not have the time to do anything but work and go to school and if I get home so late I am so tired all I want to really do is sleep. But now that I…
  • Problem is they don't sell pizza by the slice. All the other places which are farther away do but this place sells pizza as a whole in small medium or large so whenever I order a pizza it is easy for me to get tempted and lose that will power and go for the extra slice or two instead of just limiting myself to the 2 slices…
  • Pizzza is good but I am originally from New York so here in the northeast you know people love their greasy pizza especially out in the city. That is just the way that it goes. But I always ask them for light on the sauce and try to have them make it fresh and tell them to go light on any oils they use. But yes I see what…
  • Sounds legit. I will be doing this. I will have to start prepping my meals ahead of time to save me some time but I know this might really work for me. Thanks for the suggestion.
  • I agree. I'm not vegan or anything but I have a vegan and vegetarian cookbook in my kitchen drawer. Problem is with my work and university schedule being so hectic I rarely have time for myself these days. Im thinking about cooking my meals in advance so that I have no excuse to order out. I just have to get into the habit…
  • My contract is up in February of next year. Once my contract is up I think moving is my best option. I only moved here because it was a quiet neighborhood and because they gave me a good deal on the rent and plus it was closer to the school I go to so commute time was less. But I agree maybe starting fresh in a place that…
  • This actually sounds like a really good idea. I am trying to work out better time management. So I will see to it that I can try and make my own this actually is a lot healthier and I can't believe I never thought about this before. Thanks for the advice.
  • I always tell them light on the sauce as well. I get heartburn easy and the sauce does not help plus I think the light sauce might be healthier in a way since I am eating less of it. But I will be sure to keep these suggestions in mind thank you :)
  • The issue I once had is I used to love. I loved too much and that was just it. It's like cupid came down and struck me with tons of arrows and it was hard. I met someone very special who was a dear friend of mine and I feel hard for her. I used to tell her how beautiful she was and how I thought she was amazing and at some…
  • I am sorry to hear about the situation you are currently dealing with. I hope that with time things get easier and better for you and I would hope that you get the motivation you need to stay doing what you need to do. I hope that your husband is able to resolve his problems and able to feel better soon. I tell you I am…
  • I have access to a kitch yes. What I do not have very much access to is time. I am a very busy guy between work and school and it seems that going for that quick fast food bite or eating something quick at the cafe on campus is faster and saves me the time not the money.I am thinking about cooking my meals in advance from…
  • Well hello. I would like to start by saying welcome as I am new here too and just made my account today. I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I know someone who had to go through 2 of those and it is never a good feeling. I hope you are doing much better since that news came to you and I hope that your future is…
  • Let me start by saying that yesterday I checked the weather and the temperature outside was about 32 degrees and a few days before it was closer to 20 degrees out. I went outside today just to check my mail from the mailbox of my building and it was so cold I swear it felt like you could die from how cold it felt. Yet…
  • Interesting. I do not currently have diabetes but it does run in my family and both me and my sister are considered prediabetic which means if we do not watch our health we can get it too. We have to get tested for diabetes ever 6 months or so to make sure we do not have it. I myself am 24 and my sister is only 15. The…
  • Thank you for taking the time to respond to me I am glad I could just relate to people and that people can relate to me at some point or another. Right now I am taking baby steps getting back into the gym. It is not easy but I know ti is worth it. I guess being so low in my life and having to see myself like this for so…
  • It is good to find people here who relate to me and people who understand what I am going through and just to know I am not alone. I am glad you shared your story thank you for that this gave me a boost of confidence and seeing as how you are not done I know that once I get started I can get motivated to be where I need to…
  • Thanks for responding. In high school I was on the basketball team and I also did track and field which was good. I used to actually enjoy these things but then I became so unfit these things became hard to do and now I no longer do them. But I will not stop here. The fact that I am at my lowest point in life and that I…
