bump! Thanks for the great post - this will be really useful to link to some of my pals!

Posts like these help keep me motivated :) You guys look amazing, congratulations!

I've never done it, so I could be wrong, but I think you do each level for 10 days then move to the next level. I don't think you need to do them all back to back. You should give yourself some rest days!

If you have Wii Fit Plus, you can go into the "My WiiFit Plus" category (should be displayed on the same screen with your fitness bank and the "Yoga", "Strength Training", "Aerobics", and "Balance Games" categories) and either make some selections from their pre-made routines or create a routine of your own. This option…

Once you play it more, you'll unlock longer runs, more repetitions, etc. I've had success with Wii Fit Plus. I talked about it in a thread yesterday actually: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/252385-weight-loss-with-wii-fit Enjoy!

Hello! I started MFP at the end of February of this year. I've been tracking my calories daily and generally stay pretty close to my limits. The only real exercise I've been doing has been walking to work instead of taking the bus, taking the stairs up the four floors to my apartment instead of the elevator, and doing…

I think a much better motto would be "Nothing tastes as good as being HEALTHY feels". We shouldn't be focusing on being THIN, we should be focusing on being HEALTHY. I don't think Kate Moss is exactly a stellar role model for young girls, or any women for that matter, to be basing their choices off of.

Great job! You look like you feel so much better!

Thanks!

I would have actually taken a before picture. I don't have one besides a few randoms from friends which you can't really tell anything from. I would have taken my measurements from the beginning also.

That's a great non-scale victory! Honestly the ways my clothes fit a little bit better every week is one of the biggest motivators for me! I'm not hiding my muffin top under sweaters at work anymore! Congratulations and keep up the good work :)

Congrats! Those are pretty much my goals as well (SW 165, CW 147, GW 135). Hearing about someone else reaching their goal is super motivating!

That's a pretty awesome NSV! I had a similar one with my favorite pair of work pants. When I first started, they were a pretty comfy fit but the other day they almost fell right off my butt! Needless to say I'll be happy to replace them with a new favorite pair! Congrats!

You should def be eating back most of your exercise calories. I wasn't doing this at first and was experiencing the same thing you're going through now. Once I started eating the exercise calories back, I started shedding the projected weight each week. Don't forget that MFP already has a calorie deficit calculated into…

Feel free to add me! I was the same way when I started here, scared about admitting my weight. I'm not sure what changed, I read through a lot of forums and found some people very similar to my own start weight and end goals. The more I read and the more I saw the success stories, the less talking about my starting weight…

You look great! Way to go!

This is actually a Kate Moss quote from an interview she did for a magazine once. It's a nice thought, but is that what we're here for? Just to be thin/skinny? I'm here to be healthy. I want to look and feel toned and active, and that is what will make me feel good. And I plan to eat foods that taste good during the…

This is so inspirational! Thanks! You look great :)

I completely forgot to post any weigh-ins for this! My SW for this was 160 and I'm currently 152.8 so goal accomplished!
-
This made my morning! Thanks :)

Non scale victory!

That is really awesome, I'm still waiting for that particular NSV! Great job, you're obviously rocking it! :-)
-
I'm from NS as well, living in Halifax! Good to see that there are other MFP members close to home :D
-
Feel free to add me. Not sure I'm a "mother-figure" but I can be a motivational-figure if needed :)
-
Inspirational, as always! =-) You look amazing!

As long as you're still withing your calorie range, you're good! On nights when I know I'll be having a few beers, I try to exercise a bit more that day so I have more calories to "eat" (drink) later on. I've heard that some people will add the drinks that they plan to have later on to their food diary, and then they know…

PS. Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. A lb of muscle weighs the same as a lb of fat.
