If you have a game console, get one of the dancing games. Great exercise and kids love to dance.

I've always thought "knickers" sounded sexy. (Sorry to intrude on the ladies only discussion!)
-
My wife would never wear lingerie. Now she's my Ex.
-
They are extra yummy, though!

Dairy Queen is my fast food of choice now when my daughter wants to stop somewhere. They have a grilled chicken on garden greens salad that's 150 cal.
-
Today I ate at Panera Bread. Silly me thought that "chipotle chicken panini" wouldn't be all that bad. So I ate it and it was really good! Then I logged it and it was 840 calories :o I just watched an entire episode of Big Bang Theory on the stairclimber.
-
Accurate logging can be a real eye opener. Are you using a foodscale? The first step to solving any problem is to identify exactly what the problem is...so it sounds like you're on the right track.
-
This is the part that matters.

I have a lot of tuna sandwiches.
-
And how much does that cost?
-
Winner, Winner, Chicken dinner!

The canned stuff is lower calorie, plus if you just transfer it to a Tupperware container you can tell your workmates that your spouse made pate' and put it on crackers. They have lots of flavors, so you can change it up.

I get motivated to diet and exercise several times a day when the Viagra commercials come on: "Make sure you are healthy enough to have sex."
-
Yes, it's great exercise! One of the best fat burning things there is. However, if you mean count as exercise by entering it into your exercise log there is a lot of variability in the calories you burn. If you regularly walk that much, you might consider getting an activity tracker like a Fitbit.

There is a HUGE difference between friends trash talking each other sparking some rivalry and competition to do better, and someone who is putting you down trying to make you feel bad so somehow they can feel better in comparison.

Good Luck! Try 80's Workout on Spotify :) I know what you mean about "just have one beer with us" and they think you're anti-social. Or that stupid slogan "Just Do It"...sometimes it's not as simple as that. I used to smoke. I tried to quit a lot of times, because my wife wanted me to, or because my doctor said I should,…

I haven't been to a gym in 10 or 15 yrs. I hate gyms. They tend to full of judgmental people, posers, germs, and people who try to sell you protein shakes and diet pills. Plus they are notorious for overcharging, terrible customer service, and predatory contracts with no refunds or cancellations.

Your primary goal should be to stay within your calorie budget. If you are within 10 or 20 percent of the recommended percentages you're going to be fine. It's going to go up and down each day depending on what you eat. As long as the weekly/monthly average is around 50% give or take it's close enough. This is not an exact…

Of course medical issues or allergies or things like that gets you a free pass!

I always just ignore those people. It's like boys in the locker room bragging about their conquests. There is absolutely no way that anyone of any size can't eat 1200 calories in one meal if they really wanted to. No meat required. Or just one of these:
-
If you could teach this trick to others, you'd be famous! (and very rich)
-
I go outside a lot, and there are a lot of mothers with babies using jogging strollers. Can you do that? You don't have to actually jog. You can just go on long walks.
-
I love this!
-
Strange how the only important question was left out: Does this fit into my calorie budget?
-
I get the 100 cal Klondike ice cream bars.
-
No chips. Most anything in the fruit and vegetable area is fair game. It's really just whatever you like to eat. But you can't buy most of that stuff and just keep it around the house. You need to buy 2 or 3 days worth at a time so it's always fresh. Suggestions: - Sara Lee low cal bread. 45 cal per slice is less than half…

Interesting. I have the Charge HR. I only got the calories when I turned off steps.
-
Turn off the steps. It will update either steps or calories, not both. Dunno why, seems kinda dumb. But turn off the steps and then it will put sync the calories burned and update your exercise calories. When you want to see the actual step count, look on the fitbit itself or the app or dashboard.
