Eat whatever you want as long as it fits your calories for the day, unless otherwise advised by your doctor. Restricting foods (in terms of what they are instead of by quantity) tends not to work for many people in the long run. They eventually eat it, binge, give up. If you do overeat, don't sweat it, just move on to the…

If it's bringing up the right product but not the right amounts or nutrition info according to your package, then it's probably old information. Companies are always changing product weights and tweaking ingredients.

I was going to mention this too. 1900 cals/day for your sex, height, weight, age seems pretty low. You don't want to eat too far under your BMR unless advised by your doctor. Better to pick a reasonable weight loss rate and bring down the cals slowly as you lose weight.

I still eat pasta and rice, but like the others I have cut back my portions. I cut back gradually. Some friends have taken to substituting zucchini or spaghetti squash cut into "noodles" instead of having pasta. They like it, and I'm thinking of trying it too. I just never seem to remember to buy zucchini when I want pasta…

I log gum and cough drops and vitamins, but if I have one sip of my husband's iced tea or something, I might not record it. But that's definitely in the minority... I will record even if I have only a bite or two of food. My diary is closed and I'm working on being really honest with myself about what/how much I eat.

Set up your MFP goals or use http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ to figure out your number of calories to lose 0.5 or 1lb a week. Then start…

30°F sounds tropical to me right now. ;) But I'd take any sort of exercise at 30 rather than 80. 80 is too hot for anything. But I'd always prefer to be colder. I can add blankets and layers of clothing. Not a lot I can do in hot weather after I've stripped.

Unless you are actually ill and need medical assistance, your body is able to process without needing a detox. Lose weight through sustainable lifestyle changes. "But the idea that your body needs help getting rid of toxins has "no basis in human biology," says Frank Sacks, MD, of the Harvard School of Public Health. Your…

I noticed I wasn't hitting RDA on some micros so I take a generic women's multivitamin. I haven't been tested, but I suspect I'm probably Vit D deficient, too. Don't want to supplement until I know, though.

5'4" my goal is 145 - top end of normal BMI. When I get closer to it, I may revise my goal to be more in the middle of normal, but I'll cross that road when I come to it.

I just signed up at mfp this week. I'm eating how I usually do for about a week just to get a sense of what I'm already doing. It's the same kind of advice given when you're setting up a budget for your personal finances. Just track what you already do for a little bit, then you can adjust from there.
