I just re-read this thread (took a while!) and even though I'm just getting back into lifting, I found a post from myself last year saying I managed to deadlift 50kg, well now my PB is 105 kg so I guess I've improved! Can't wait to get even stronger :)

I love seeing all of you strong women, I'm getting back into my weights post-lockdown and still really hoping I'll have a success story here one day!

I appreciate not being the only one to bump this one, haha! I'm still new to lifting, but today I managed 6 reps of 50kg deadlift (think I'd previously only tried 30), getting there slowly :) working up to being able to do one pull up as well, haha

You should be! I'm just starting out as well, and discovering that I love and am actually decent at squats (shoulder press not so much, haha!)

Hi ladies, I've enjoyed reading this thread and seeing how many of you lift heavy, I'm still a newbie to it but I've been working out 2x a week with a personal trainer and we're going to focus specifically on building strength from now on (and I'm hoping to fit in going on my own another 1-2 times a week if I can). I love…

You look great, and so happy :)

ExistingFish, I can't believe you changed so much in that short space of time, that's amazing! You look super strong now, that's what I'm aiming for
-
Hi Andi, feel free to add me as a friend if you want to, it can be difficult going this journey alone!
-
You look fantastic, and you must feel super fit!
-
Yeah that's basically my goal as well, I'd love to be that strong!
-
I hope it's OK to bump this (again)! Getting much more into lifting and this thread is amazing, there are some incredible transformations and it's super inspirational

You are amazing :)

Sorry to bump this thread again (although not really because it's super motivating to read/see) but I've started with a personal trainer to help me with my strength goals (and with my fear of the free weights section of the gym) so hopefully one day I can post properly in here, haha
