ive always been told (and totally believe) that even if you can only run 10 feet, the fact that you're out there and you run even that much makes you a runner! be proud about your running (no matter how big or small) and a big WOOT WOOT! to your accomplishment today! :-D

evening all :) i got in 2 more miles this evening to add to our 100 mile challenge, which should bring us up to 56 (see below). i almost managed to talk myself out of doing my scheduled p90x yoga, but i plowed through most of it just because i didnt want to do it (1:22 instead of the full 1:30). because of the 2 miles and…

(which is a first in a long time for me :-p) for my weekly check-in, i managed to meet all of the water, calorie and exercise challenges every day and as of this morning im down 1.8lbs for the…

hey hey team :) checking in for yesterday and the beginning of today. got all of my water in yesterday and played an hour and a half (or more) of wallyball (vollyball in a racquetball court) so came in under my calories even after going to genghis grill last night for dinner! i was actually surprised at the calorie count…

that's the heart rate monitor i use, and i love it too! i was amazed at the amount of calories i actually burned during my regular workouts (running, etc) as well as during p90x :)

so, question for you p90xers...anyone experience muscle cramping during your stint with p90x? ive noticed this week that im getting some muscle cramping in different parts of my body during the routines...i know some people say take vitamins, while others say to eat certain things. just wondering if anyone who's going…

this is kinda a slow question, but are we supposed to be staying under our goal calories before or after workout calories?

im in a similar boat...lost a ton of weight, have gained some back, and find myself getting discouraged because now that i want it gone again its not coming off as easily as it did before...i think, for me, its because i know how it is to be the smaller weight and i want to be back there so bad i get frustrated when it…

do you have a pool available to you? you can do exercises or run in the pool. its very low impact but also allows you to get your heart rate up.

i had knee surgury in january, and the physical therapist i went to after had me doing squats on a bosu (sp?) ball (the half moon balance boards) in order to keep me from favoring one side or the other. he also made me do single leg squats on my injured leg to help build stability and strength

I eat most things in layers. For example, I eat the toppings one at a time off a salad before eating the lettuce. Or the chocolate off the outside of a protein bar before eating the middle.... it started years ago as an effort to try to make myself eat slower...now its just the way i eat :) a lot of my friends are amazed…

i listen to audio books...i tend to tune out music but a book makes me pay attention to whats going on in the story rather than how bad i hurt or how much i want to stop :)
