  • I am down 1.6 lbs to 321.8 this week and excited about that. I have a goal for this coming week as well and I know it's the motivation that I need.
  • Peanut butter and banana are a go-to breakfast for me. I buy the small packs of organic peanut butter in bulk and just use one for an entire banana. Great for protein and potassium. Also, I have recently started keeping the Lance Crackers with Peanut Butter and Honey so I have the protein and it's not as dry.
  • Victoria, I just sent you a request to be your friend on MFP because I can totally relate. I did great for awhile and now I feel like I am in the hills of weight loss. Support is what will get it off and I am here to help you (as well as help myself). Jenn
  • Okay so here is my Start and Goal... SW: 323.4 GW: 318.4
  • I would love to join this. I will post my starting weight tomorrow as I didn't weigh in today (dreading this week's weigh in actually) and my goal for Memorial Day will be 5 lbs less. It's totally possible for me as we in the process of moving and a lot of work is ahead.
  • Order steamed rice and you can request for them to not use as much butter/oil on your items. They will cook them separate if you ask. Also, if they offer sushi, salad and soup, opt for that route instead. You will still get the show from other's food. I did horrible when I went to the hibachi place because I didn't know…
  • My goal each week is to stay within my calories for the week, not to eat anything with sugar in the first 4-5 ingredients, and exercise in some form 2x a week. I've done two weeks of successfully maintaining these. The reason I say calories for the week is because there are some days where I go low and some that I go high.…
  • That's definitely a success! Keep it up and you will be there in no time!
  • Congratulations! The animation really shows a difference
  • Well, I just finished week 2 of limiting my sugars and had another GREAT week! I lost 3.3 lbs for a total of right at 6 lbs in 2 weeks with the cutting back on sugars. That tells me it is totally worth it. Now, don't think I have gone without but I will tell you that I am really looking at eating more natural items and…
  • Sorry I have done so bad about actually checking in. I have done amazingly well this week for cutting back to not eating things without the first 4-5 ingredients of sugar. It has done wonders for me physically already and I can't wait to weigh in tomorrow morning and see. After I got past day 3, the cravings weren't really…
  • Athenos, Voskos and even Yoplait have been great for me. I have really loved the Plain with Honey but am working on finding one with lower calories and sugars.
  • I just logged Cleaning for the first time yesterday and I will tell you that seeing how many calories I burned during that time was more than enough motivation to keep me going and doing it more often. In fact, I need to go swap out laundry and empty the trash.
  • That is my resolve on ANY day where I have had a mistake. You can't beat yourself up for what you did but only pick yourself up and do better the next time. :flowerforyou: For me, I worked out hard this morning cleaning for 2 straight hours and therefore was "awarded" 741 extra calories and the excess that goes with it. I…
  • Congratulations! That has to be feel so amazing! Just wait until one day you will be having to give it up for an even smaller one! :)
  • I think that today I did great. We were out all day as I had to teach a Make and Take and then we went out looking for new property to move to. We ate out and I think I did really good with the choices that I had before me. Also, when given the ability to eat Blue Bell Ice Cream, I didn't! WOO HOO! Small victory for me! :)…
  • I'm joining a day late but I'm going to do it! My goal is getting my sugars down and keeping them in count. I know that some sugar is okay but I crave it SO MUCH! I turned down a cupcake yesterday but then turned around and had a foo-foo drink at dinner last night, what was I thinking? I wasn't! Today is a new day and I…
  • My diary is public but just don't look at yesterday (or this past week for that matter) as it was just BAD! I'm not happy with what the scale said today because I didn't feel I had done that bad. Sugars are my issue and I know I have to work on those but can't seem to get them under control. :(
  • Congratulations! You look so amazingly different! Great job!
  • Congrats on sharing that! That was your "rock-bottom" and it can only get better from here! :) Take it one day at a time and move forward each and every day! MFP is a great place to be.
  • I am 6'2" and I have a personal goal of 225 because I have been there twice before and felt great (and looked great in my opinion). According to the BMI chart, I am still overweight at that weight but it is what works for me. If I got down to 164-196 (my healthy range) I would look sick and I know that. I had the goal of…
  • I watched it religiously before we decided to cancel our cable service to help us get moving. I do wish that it would show online.... might have to check that out.
  • I am another one too! I started this journey on 2/14 and had 112 lbs to lose. I love being her at MFP and all the people I have met so far and continue to meet on a daily basis when I can get on. None of us did this overnight and we can all help one another put it off for good.
  • I think from what I am reading you aren't eating all of the recommended calories that you need each day. When you don't eat those calories on a regular basis you are basically throwing your body into starvation mode and it can't reach ketosis where it needs to be so that it will burn the fat in your body. Try eating foods…
  • I am a couponer as well and have stared again about 2 months ago after a hiatus. My husband and I have never had a set budget for groceries but now with times getting even tougher for us (I'm a teacher in Texas who might not have a job next year), I am setting a $50/wk budget. I sit down on Sunday's and peruse Grocery Game…
  • My plan is to get rid of them as I do lose the weight as I will be happy to be back into the smaller sizes once again. I am actually excited to get my old clothes back out again because I loved them so much.
  • I agree with Dawn that there are several different opinions on this. I have a hard time eating some of my calories at times and then at times wish I had those extra calories to eat. LOL! I think that if you are doing well on eating your food groups and have them balanced for the day then you should be just fine.
