  • Oh my god, I wish it weren't so hard to find up where I live, or that I knew someone closer than my grandmother who had the room to raise ducks for/with me. Hand raised roast duck with crispy fatty potatoes and fresh asparagus with a little red wine.... It would be worth being fat.
  • Are you eating enough fibrous greens? Or enough carbs? I know the week I tried to go extremely low carb I didn't poo at all. Maybe talk to your doctor about what balance you need in your diet.
  • I only poop every second sometimes even third day, my mother was the same way. There is nothing wrong or unhealthy about not going every single day, unless you have very hard dry or painful poos. In that case, are you sure you're getting enough fluids? Without sufficient hydration simple things like dedication can be a…
  • Man duck fat, last summer my grandmother and I raised 24 meat ducks. On butchering day she made duck bacon, I collected all of the extra fat I could find (which is the least gross way to explain it), rendered it down and used it to make lyonnaise potatoes. It was worth the six hours of gross.
  • The chocolate protein milk I keep in the fridge to bribe my 2 year old Slice of potato bread toast with avocado Banana Handful of baby carrots on my way out the door Those are my lazy running late breakfasts. Avocado toast also frequently shows up in my full breakfasts because I love avocado.
  • I have been dreaming of a perfectly flat and smooth stomach for literally as long as I can remember (yeah, I was a happy child.) but if it never happens I will settle for my perpetually perky booty and some nice legs. I live in the Pacific Northwest, it's only warm enough to show my stomach about two months annually but a…
  • Huh, I guess I should talk to my doctor about this because I have low iron too, the last time I tried to give blood I was a single point above the minimum (I say tried because I cried, as soon as I knew there was a needle nearby, and they had to throw out my donation). I have always know that my low iron was the cause of…
  • I love that this is still going.
  • Cheezits, 27 in a bowl on the counter, never brought into the living room with me, always there waiting. That is how I overcome bored eating, it's 150 calories for the bowl, I plug it in first thing in the morning and then nibble on the crackers all day. Same thing with baby carrots.
  • I've never been a binger, my mother would have a whole box of Oreo fillings for dinner some nights when I was in school, I have always been very cautious of not binging in an unhealthy way. Especially later in life when I learned that my mother, grandmother and great grandmother had all struggled with bulima during their…
  • Your stomach looks fine right now, I can see where you view it as some big protruding menace but it is really slimming down and looking real nice, or getting to that point. Just worry about losing more fat overall and your stomach will keep shrinking.
  • If you wear a Fitbit you simply need to take your total calories burned for the whole day, and subtract 1000 from it (500 daily for each pound you want to lose) here is an example from my Fitbit yesterday I burned 2760 calories total (including my just being alive calories) I ate 1305 calories yesterday (including the…
  • I haven't ever gotten the 1200 calorie a day goal, just sayin'. I have however eaten just 1000-1200 calories more often than I have met my full calorie goal.
  • Working all day and hating the holiday (I am working floral for the week as always and it ruins it for me in a big way) My husband and I did have some surf and turf last night and I bought chocolate covered strawberries and a mini chocolate cheesecake.
  • Oh, I misunderstood what you meant. Personally I don't look at my specific exercise burns I look at my overall burn for the day, and then subtract my calorie intake from that to make sure I am at a reasonable deficit.
  • If your weight loss goal is small (I'd call yours pretty minimal) the weight will come off slower, and you don't really need the 1000calorie deficit (which is what losing 2lbs a week is roughly). You can also manually adjust your activity level in the accounts settings (I use the iPhone app so I'm not sure where it is on…
  • No, not from exercise, for the whole day.
  • If I cut my daily calories burned in half I would have only burned 1000cal in a 24 hour period, which is pretty much impossible.
  • I can honestly say I have never once had that problem, I have always felt like the fattest girl in the room, or if there was no hiding that someone was heavier than me I felt like they carried themselves better than me.
  • Not especially? Maybe a little bit more than I usually consume, I don't really eat very much of it normally so it is possible the little bit I've had this weekend was a lot for me.
  • Haha, I didn't assume it was fat, I don't really know what I logically thought it could be otherwise though. I guess I was just surprised the most water weight I've ever gained was 1.5lbs and it dropped back within a day.
  • I've had D/DD since highschool, it's been terrible. When I had my son, I breastfed for about 8 months, they firmed back up where they belonged and aside from some slight continental drift (huge amounts of cleavage, and some extra side fat) when I laid down they were great. Then I started losing weight, they're jigglier and…
  • I constantly worry that no matter what I will only see the fat me. Then I nearly slip and fall on my pant legs because even though I didn't notice them fitting looser and sitting lower they are. If you keep looking for the change you might never see it, after all a watched lot never boils.
  • Is it possible that you're not netting enough calories? Another thing to consider is water weight, if your muscles are sore from over working they will hold a lot more water to repair them, just jacking up the scale. Personally instead of jiggling with your macros i would just increase your calorie intake 100-200 for a…
  • Congrats! I'm down about 8lbs myself, and I don't have much noticeable difference either, but hey, go you!
  • I weigh myself everyday with my wii, because if I had a normal scale I would weigh myself every time I went to the bathroom. I also love that it tracks my weight, BMI, etc for me. I give myself two shots, if I see an increase I can weigh myself one other time (center of balance can cause a slight fluctuation I have…
  • I eat spaghetti all the time, I make extra at dinner and have it for breakfast the next day. I love spaghetti, and aside from it's pretty high calorie load (above 500 per serving the way I make it) it's pretty okay for you. My macros are always as close to spot on as I can manage on spaghetti days. I also eat a lot of…
  • I spend a lot more time naked in front of the mirror to be honest. Before I'd maybe glance at myself when I was getting into or out of the shower, but now I take a really good look, then I turn to the side, then I hold my hands over the bits I plan on losing and look again. It sounds very vain, but it helps me visualize my…
  • You know what I miss? English muffins with Nutella, but I'm sore from shoveling snow and it will be about two minutes before we are reunited for breakfast.
  • I'm 5'4" and before I had my son I was 150lbs and wore a size 6 jean. After he was born within two weeks (I breastfed) my hips had shrunk back down to a size six, and I can to this day get them up and buttoned over my hips, with my big post baby belly all sad and exploding from the top like someone fit a whole cake mix…
