Great to see you here! Best of luck to you. :)

How about taking the food you're already eating and increasing your portion size? Half a laughing cow wedge with one thin slice of ham and one small piece of bread or some crackers is not much of a meal. If you're getting full from all of that it may be because you've already done some significant damage to your metabolism…

Incredible! And I love the picture. :)

Ok, despite my reading injury... L1D4 attempt 2 accomplished!

I didn't Shred yesterday because of an injury. Read my blog if you want further details. Hoping to get back into it tonight or tomorrow morning.

Processed foods and PCOS will definitely wreak havoc on your skin. I hope you're able to get medical treatment for the PCOS because that will more than likely make a huge difference. And as for using oil on oily skin, it's completely fine. Just make sure you're using natural, organic oils. Not the same old olive oil you've…

I have been breaking out since I was about 13 years old. Ew! It gets better from time to time, but my skin is never perfect. Have you tried hormonal birth control? That seems to do the best for me medication wise. I tired ProActiv when I was a teenager, and although it worked better than regular soap, it was very harsh. I…

Here's my two cents... If your boyfriend is more concerned with you being healthy and being able to enjoy life with him and possibly have children with him in the future, he's a good guy who has your best interests at heart. I had a customer in here just yesterday talking about how she and her husband have been fly fishing…

Wait for them to ripen. Was the flesh pretty firm when you bit into it? It should be soft, almost like really ripe cantaloupe.

This morning was supposed to be L1D4... I couldn't get out of bed. Exhausted from trying to change my sleep schedule, which is not working for me yet. So, I will do it tonight after I get home from work. Last night also did W1D1 of C25K and some yoga for deep stretching - the calves don't hurt nearly as bad today. Yay!…

I had a pretty bad episode of insomnia a few months ago. I answered all of those questions and I really hadn't made any changes at that point, but I did used to sleep with the TV on, like you. Now, however, I've got the TV off and instead I sleep with my iPod hooked up to my speakers. I have it playing an hour long track…

Do you still have your settings at 1200 calories a day? I noticed a few days ago in the "notes" section you mentioned up-ing them to 1400. To me that sounds like a great idea! Seems like most people hit a plateau when they stay really low for a long time. Then they eat more and... more weight comes off! Also, I second the…

Can you give us some more info, please? Think of everything that might apply, such as: How is your caffeine intake? Are you on any new meds? When did the trouble sleeping start? Was it before or after changing your diet or exercise plan? If it was after, what kind of changes did you make? What makes you unable to fall…

Just noticed the thread... I'm in! I started on Sunday so this morning was L1D3 and my calves are sooooo sore. Probably means I'm doing the cardio sections incorrectly, am I right? SW: 170.4 Chest: 38" Waist: 29" Hips: 42" Thighs: 24.5/25" Arms: 11.5/11.75"

I haven't done it, but I need to. I want some WHITE jeans this year, and I found the perfect pair that are actually curvy and (surprisingly) long enough! Buuuuuuut, those puppies are big bucks. LOL

As for the surgery as a cure/treatment for Endo, I am so thankful that it worked for you. Unfortunately most people aren't that lucky, with a signifciant amount finidng recurring lesions and pain within about two years. I was advised not to even attempt surgery because it didn't make sense in my case. I'm so happy for you…

I'm 29 and been suffering from Endo since I was a teenager. I have never done the Endo diet, but I have read quite a bit about it. What I've realized, however, is that eating healthy in general (even if I eat the "no-nos" on the Endo diet) and getting frequent exercise has helped me immensely. Also, I take…

Fantastic! Is it weird that I got a little choked up for you sitting here at my desk? LOL I'm just so happy when people have moments like this!

I would take the money, but before signing any paperwork, please find an attorney who will look it over for you before you accept the offer. You're in Canada, right? Not sure how it works there, but with all of the social programs, I'm sure there has got to be some sort of legal service that is offered to assist mothers at…

You saw that post from imagymrat about isometric chest exercises, right? Although they're not the same action as a push up, they do work similar muscles. Maybe try a dumbbell chest press? To do the exercise most effectively though, you may not be able to lay on the floor as it would prevent your hands and the weights from…

If you can find it, try Organic Nectars raw vegan "ice creams." They're gelato made from cashew milk and agave nectar... A-MA-ZING. I got the chocolate at a local health food store and I want to eat the entire thing, right now! There are a couple of other flavors, too. It's 120 calories for 2/5 of a cup (I know, weird…

So many wonderful things I had forgotten about. I used to have my kids doing a lot of these when I coached, but that was so long ago that they had slipped my mind. Thanks for jogging my memory!

We had it baked in a caserole of sorts one time, with tomato sauce and lowfat cottage and ground turkey. Kind of like a lasagne. It was great!

You look great! Nicely done. :)

I, too, have had transient issues with hypoglycemia for as long as I can remember. The best advice that has worked for me is to have a balanced snack before working out. If you know that exercising is going to lower your blood sugar, it makes sense to be proactive about it so that you don't put your body through the trauma…

Hey, same thing just happened for me! For the past year my total cholesterol has been as low as 188 and as high as 205. At the beginning of this month I was 146. Yay to all of us!

Peppers, nuts (of any kind), shellfish, pork (in any form), kiwi, sweet potatoes... everything else that others mentioned though, I pretty much love! Tomatoes! Brussell Sprouts! Yogurt! Milk! Celery! Green Beans! Bananas! All of it. Bring it on, I'll clean your plate.
